James Rolfe (aka Angry Video Game Nerd) presents - Monster Madness: Camp Cult

Many of us are familiar with the Angry Video Game Nerd as the guy who constantly curses at bad video games. But he also does many other entertaining and interesting things besides.

A year ago I started a thread about his annual "Monster Madness" in which he does short two to five minute reviews of the most influential films in the horror genre in chronological order. He releases one video everyday during the month of October. This year however there is a twist. Instead of doing the cream of the crop classics he's doing the shitty of the shit. He's essentially looking at all of the campiest films in the horror genre over the years. So it should be interesting.

I made a thread about this with last years reviews, but I foolishly did so when it was practically over. So here's me hoping this thread will fair better due to starting it practically right in the beginning. :D

James Rolfe rox, his Angry Video Game Nerd schtick will always be my fave, but I also like when he reviews other movies or toys/games as himself more or less under the Cinemassacre channel

I thought I recognized that cave from "Army of Darkness"! :lol

And that stock footage! :lol

That main alien character! :lol

"Ro-man"! :lol

I'm hoping he reviews more movies featured on MST3K. Really hoping for a Manos or Space Mutiny review.

Great series this year... I love the "Monstervision"-inspired segments he's been doing for some of the reviews.

His holiday things really do get me in the holiday spirit for some reason. When Christmas is nearing I seek out Christmas themed videos of his. It's on par with Halloween episodes of the Simpsons, for me :lol

Ugh sorry guys I was so busy yesterday that I didn't have time to even watch the videos, let alone log into GAF and post it.

Anyway here's yesterday's "The Terror".

Thanks RSLYG for posting today's video.

:lol :lol

Those Frankenstein vs Dracula films are a real shame. You'd think by now they must've made a decent film about that, but holy shit, those films are really bad :lol

Not really, I mean the match up doesn't make much sense. And it's funny how often they get it wrong... Frankenstein was the Doctors name, not the monster.

Wow... kung fu vampires... I never thought I'd see that in a movie.

Eggads man!

There are dozens if not hundreds of Hong Kong movies with those. Google Mr. Vampire! Lam Ching Ying pretty much had the second half of his career set doing those.

Thanks for keeping this updated! Pretty entertaining stuff. My cousin looks almost exactly like Rolfe, which makes watching him all the more hilarious.

This movie looks amazing. But I don't see how it's horror and the
"BOOM!"s
got annoying after a while.

Thanks!

This series also made me realize a gain how much I miss painted film posters. Those things always look awesome.
