No site will ever require you to type in your xbox live account info to get free points. If you get free points you would be provided with a code to redeem at xbox.com

If you want to test it:

- Go to Xbox.com
- Login there
- Now use the link in the email
- If you're already logged in at the site now, it's legit. Otherwise not.

Never give anyone your login info after clicking on a link in an email.

Gmail would warn you if the "sent from" email address was fake. Since it's not and the email really came from xbox.com, the email is probably real.
Make sure by checking the url given in the email - if it's on the official xbox domain or not.

Not every email is a phishing attempt guys.

That's a legit email address, we need to see the header info to see if it's real, as that email can be faked...

Hope I get that email, sucks if someone used his code, lol. Irony is if it was legit then he got scammed by neogaf.

fuuuuckkkk.... you shouldn't have said why he should remove the image, now is probably too late.

:(

I hoped that the poster will remove it quickly. Just about anyone who would want to exploit something like this would see serial quickly.

Sorry for you man :(
