Ouch, according to Dengeki, hardware sales fell to 86,000 this week. If we say the little guys(GBA, GC) sold 16,000 between them, that leaves only 70,000 for the big 3. In other words, the DS, ps2 and psp averaged a miserly 23,000 each. Looks like someone is going to feel some pain. I'd wager the ps2 held out at 30,000 what with it having the top game, and being the monster that it is. That would mean the DS and psp averaged around 20K each. Whatever the case, there probably will be some major damage control going on from somewhere.
First post in the thread is wrong, Nintendogs total was 31K. 12K for Shiba, the other two between 9-10K. So actually equal first. Your point still stands, DS software was again strong with both Wario and Mario outselling Hotshots, and of course the top DS games doing really well.
Regardind the GBA/GC numbers, I could see the GC as low as 3-4K. With the GBA, its been averaging 14K recently and was a whole 22K last week. Hence around 11-12K doesn't seem too unrealistic. It definitely won't fall to 5-6K levels, hence worst case I see is 12K between them.
Still, that puts the average at less than 25K for the main systems. my prediction, 28K, 24K, 22K for the ps2, DS and psp respectively.

Last week was a dead week... there's very little point in even discussing it.
The DS and PSP were only 1000 apart, and there were very few new games. Front Mission Online is just about the only new thing that got released last week, and that didn't sell as well as Nobunaga Online or MinGol Online. Thanks to the huge sales over Golden Week, we'll probably have a lull period for a couple of weeks or more.
