I can't quite wrap my mind around how this game works, and I'm fairly certain it'll make me puke, but I'm in.

Okay, I can see it now after watching the video. Looks hectic and nauseating, but it a good way.

It was actually released last Friday accidentally but I don't think a handful of people even bought it before it went down. Sneaky sneaky


Also don't play the Flash version if you have a bunch of stuff to do. You will get addicted

He mentions a hyper mode on his blog. I can only imagine how insane that must be, if it's at a faster pace then the footage in that youtube video of the flash version.

I do wonder how the controls will work, it looks like you need to move really fast. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Apparently you tap left and right sides of screen to move left and right. Seems like an elegant control scheme

i'd laugh if he put a mode in where you'd actually have to rotate the iphone around. would probably result in a lot of broken ios devices.

I see in the OP that it's coming to Android maybe... how likely is that? Don't have an iOS device (won't have one until maybe next year)

Any game from the creator of VVVVVV is a game I need to play :p

I'm playing a preview for review at the moment and damn I suck so hard at this game, but it's still bloody great. Playing it on iPad, but I think I'd play more if I was on an iPhone. So easy to pick up and play in a short burst. This is a very pure gaming experience, but I can't help thinking there's an even better game in here with more elements to it. Ultra Hexagon next please!

Also, bloody hard to review when you genuinely have no idea how much you suck at it. The first few minutes of gaming made me feel like I was utterly worthless as a gamer.

Played the flash version. Games don't usually give me motion-sickness but this is making me feel a bit funny. It definitely seems cool though. Will buy as soon as it's available in my region.

New levels, a new game+'ish mode, also Terry says he can't even look at 'Hexagon' anymore. "it just feels so rough and broken."

Sounds like it's more expanded

It's definitely a more polished experience. Music gets stuck in your head and it looks gorgeous on the iPad screen for a game with such simple design.

loved vvvvvvv but i don't think this one is my cup of tea...

i like to have some sense of accomplishment besides reaching an always better score

Oh wow, it's super difficult. The starting levels are 3, hard, harder and hardest. The music is really good, the game suggests to use earphones. So good

Nice timing... I have the VVVVVV soundtrack playing right now. The music in Super Hexagon sounds amazing! Gonna buy this tonight. Thanks!

Edit: Holy crap, this is hard (playing the Flash version). But this music is so good... and short-lived. :p

Yeah, no. Touch the right side of the screen to go clockwise, and the left side for anticlockwise. It's hard.
