Earlier this week, Vice President of VXG Rolando Brison announced on the e-broadcast, The On Blast Show, that a special banquet event is being prepared for the first 200 gamers who pre-register for the Mortal Kombat World Championships hosted by Hollywood legend Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa.
The dinner will feature a virtual re-enactment from the Mortal Kombat motion picture where Sub-Zero and the “random” competitor engaged in battle. The “actor” who will be playing the role of Sub-Zero will be Empire Arcadia’s Tom Brady. The host of course, will be reprised by the genuine article; the real Shang Tsung, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa.
“We are very excited that Shang Tsung has finally found the Island worthy of hosting the Mortal Kombat World Tournament that will determine who is the strongest warrior of earth realm,” said Rolando Brison, Vice-President of Video X Games. “The St. Maarten Tourist Board is a proud sponsor of this historical event – Video X Games 2013.”

I was wondering what was up with the mosquito thing until I read the Tweets in the OP - either they've never experienced mosquitoes where they're from, or they went after the fresh meat, because mosquitoes in the Caribbean aren't so that bad that it hurts.
