So the decent weather has disappeared which can only mean one thing; we’re heading into August. On the plus side our attention shifts to gamescom, which is now just a mere three weeks away. As I mentioned last month, we were overwhelmed by the plaudits we received at E3 from everyone associated with the games industry and we hope for more of the same in Cologne. Our studios have been hard at work and we’re excited to be showing how our games have developed over the past two months.

This will be the first time that hundreds of thousands of potential customers will be able to get hands-on with our great line-up - from Battlefield 4 and Command & Conquer to E3 Game of the Show Titanfall, EA SPORTS FIFA 14, The Sims 4 and Need for Speed Rivals as well as chart topping mobile titles from EA All Play, Chillingo and PopCap. As I’ve said before, it’s a great time to be at EA and this promises to be our best gamescom yet.

Adding consumers is what makes gamescom so special and it’ll be the first time many of them will be able to get their hands on the next generation of interactive entertainment. I’ll try to spend as much time as possible on the show floor so if you’re out there and you see me walking about, feel free to stop me and let me know what you think of our line-up. You’ll probably find me in the FIFA 14 area and I look forward to taking on all comers, time permitting.

New BF4 footage, aww yiss!

Titanfall is going to sell like hotcakes.

I wouldn't be surprised if it does sell X1s like Halo did when people started showing their friends the game.

I'm not sure that it will ever be as big, but it will grab a lot of peoples attention.

Have they even showed what Sims 4 looks like, graphically, yet?
There were some Sims in the logo, but mostly no, so the game's debut will also be its first playable appearance.

C&C is also pretty much unveiling (in any serious manner) while being playable as well, and also launching by the end of September.

People will finally see titanfall and there will be a significant rise in Xbox one preorders all around Europe surpassing ps4 in one day!!!!!

Only interested about Sims 4.
I must admit that I played Sims 1 & 2 way more than 3.

Yeah, same here. Sims 3 was technically great, with the seamless loading and roaming around the town, but the gameplay felt much more limited overall than Sims 2. I really missed neighborhood customization, and hopefully they'll bring it back in Sims 4.

Hopefully people will get to play a new portion of Titanfall. I'm still intrigued on how the single player aspect is integrated during the game. I imagine it can be hard for some players to focus on those incoming briefings when they're trying to aim an ejected titan pilot.

Anyway, where's my NBA Live 2014. If they don't do anything I'm going to lose my hype and end up buying NBA 2K14 instead.

Cool, so I can play other games at Gamescom while everyone else waits in the line for Battlefield 4 and Titanfall. :V

I actually want to check out Titanfall, but seeing how I'd probably have to spend all day standing in line for it it's probably not worth it.

Yeah... no. But it was a fairly ambitious idea that was pulled off in a semi-competent manner and eventually mostly fixed through patches and third party mods. The concept was just strong enough to let the severe bugs it has had bring it down.

I'm looking forward to seeing Sims 4, too, though. I'm getting tired of Sims 3, kind of been there, done that by now. It's getting difficult to come up with new ideas for families and stuff to do. I'm hoping Sims 4 brings something new to the table, and to finally see just what EA is up to with that game.

I love Sims 2. I just hope Sims 4 is everything Sims 2 is and [way] more. I wish I had Sims 3, though. I haven't got the chance to get it and I feel as though I should.

Prepare for closed off R-Rated (USK 18) booths with 2 hour waiting lines.

More like 4 hours at BF4, 1 hour after opening they will close the line because they have "calculated" that after this point all people that are behind this line won't play it today anymore. Happened to me with BF3, I sneaked in behind the security guards, true story.

i still think titanfall is releasing early...really early...like MS said heres a blank check hire however many people you need, release this for the holidays, we desperately need it.

I mean we dont see destiny or the division playable, or their boxart...game is early, thats my predictionn again.

Sie werden sehen, TitanFall
google translate German probably wrong meant to say "they will see TitanFall"
