Only new thing i saw is that Wii U Sports gets a Retail release with the 5 games from the Wii Sports game.

Baseball,Bowling,Tennis, Golf and Boxing.

im assuming 3DS announcements will be saved for nintendo directs... theres also some 90 minute event for a 3DS game floating around for tomorrow. expecting one or two surprises, but overall the 3DS line up is fine for fall/xmas, im not sure what else they could deliver for the mass market to get traction. theres enough there for the hardcore/niche gamers.

this is the first e3 in sometime where the whole focus in messaging was on wiiu. which isn't a bad thing.

There's not likely to be a ton; they have their press site up with their fall 3DS lineup: Smash Bros, Pokemon Art Academy, Pokemon, Layton vs PW, Fantasy Life, and the NFC stuff.

Reggie laughed, and answered, in part "Funny you should ask. I am wearing a Metroid pin tomorrow."

It indeed did get closed, which is why I posted in here. If reposting in a thread about Nintendo press what Reggie said is bad, let me know, but I assume appropriate.

I don't think he said there was "no real significance." He said there was an employee at the NYC Nintendo store who makes them. And it still doesn't change his quote. Reggie is smart enough to not say "Funny you should ask" if it really isn't "funny."
