This was the best game I played last year, and since I owned or did not want any of the games from the MK8 promotion I decided I'd rather give someone else the opportunity to enjoy this.

Note: this game will only work on a European Wii U (Australia too I guess) - You'll also need 10.2 GB of free space :P

Please play if you win, I'd love to read your impression too when you find the time!

Instructions for participants:
I am giving away an item. To enter this giveaway, send a PM to ModBot with any subject line. In the body, copy and paste the entire line from the message below containing the game you want to enter for. Confused? Watch this GIF tutorial or ask for help.

ModBot Basics:
- This is a giveaway for the thread url: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=872621.
- This giveaway has a manual blocklist. The giver has identified members who abuse giveaways and restricted them from participating.
- I really appreciate thank you messages, but please send them to me (Roboleon, not ModBot!) via PM instead of in thread.
- Do not trade keys you win off-site to enrich yourself. Don't try to claim games you have no interest in collecting or playing. Don't claim games to give them to friends off-site.
- If the key is already taken you will not receive a reply. Replies may take a minute or two.

Rules for this Giveaway:
- This giveaway is a raffle. The winners will be selected by random draw 24 hours after the draw was created. Any games not claimed after that point will be given away first come first serve.

I already have the game, but I want to say this to the winner:

Hang on to your seat, enjoy the show.

I've been on the edge of picking this up for a little while, but with my current backlog haven't quite been able to convince myself yet... I'm certainly up for entering a giveaway, though.

Thanks for the generosity in putting this up! :D

Nice giveaway, good to see gaffers being generous.

Will the nolurkers rule disqualify anyone who hasn't got 5 posts in this thread? It might not work correctly if it does.

Should work on Australian WiiU's if you make a UK/EU/Whatever the region the code is for account. I bought a few UK codes and was able to play them on my AU account by redeeming them on a UK one.

Awesome move!
I already got it so good luck everyone.

Oh and prepare to clean your fridge, it takes so much space :lol
10,2GB!

Great giveaway, and OP you have tremendously good taste for my book.

Whoever wins this... please don't stop playing after 10 minutes.

There's no nolurkers rule for this giveaway

Started playing my copy two days ago. Platinum needs to hire someone to design proper tutorials and practice spaces with visual move lists in their games. Took me much longer to get my bearings in this game than it should have. I'd recommend at least the first couple episodes of Saur's series on its combat system.

Damn, if only I had no launch copy of W101 I have joined already (edit: I realized that my Wii U is NTSC, can't join if I wanted to :p). One of Platinum's best. Hope the lucky winner will enjoy the game!

Thanks OP, i was between this and Pikmin for the free MK8 game and ended up going with Pikmin, not exactly regretting the decision, but still think this looks really fun

Wow, that's pretty awesome. I've got the game already so no go for me, but good luck to everyone. And please, watch the Saur's youtube series (linked above) if you have any troubles with the game.

The game rocks when you give it a proper chance.

Have enough eShop cred for this or Pikmin 3. Not sure which to get..
Both should be played.

My first giveaway entry!

I hope I get Wonderfully Lucky!

It's THE ONE Wii U that I want that I don't have yet.

Also, if anyone wants a sealed physical copy of Rayman Legends for the Wii U, er, just let me know. I've been trying to get rid of that thing for months.

I already did my civic duty by purchasing it at launch, but I am posting anyway to vouch for its quality and encouraging people to check it out whether they win a key or not. If you have any interest in Devil May Cry or Bayonetta-esque games, you'll find plenty to love in this. It may not look like it on the surface, but it's definitely part of that genre of game.

legendary thanks so much entered!!!

I have just bought a WiiU and would love this game to add to my very limited collection!

Sure, but I don't have the cash or time to drop on both for now lol. If I thought both weren't worth the time I wouldn't have even brought it up. It would be an easy choice.

Thanks for the generous giveaway roboleon (pronounced like a robotic Jean Reno, or a robotic Napoleon?)

This is one of my 'edge' games - I'm so curious but just can't quite tip me over the edge into buying it.

Oh right, sorry.

That's kind of hard to say. Personally I think Pikmin 3 isn't nearly as good so I might go with that (because the best is better served later in my opinion), but other people think Pikmin is better. Content wise I'd guess they have about the same amount of content for one playthrough of the campaign. Pikmin has a mission mode that's quite extensive. The Wonderful 101 has a mission mode too that is not quite so extensive, but the campaign is very well built for replaying. Personally I almost never replay any game, but I played through TW101 like 4 times (started on easy and then went through all the harder difficulties), because you keep learning all the time still.

If local coop is a thing for you, Pikmin is better in that regard. All the missions of the mission mode are playable in coop, and there's also a versus mode (sucks that's not online by the way). The Wonderful 101 has local coop too, but it's not quite as easy to get into.

Are you giving away the code you got for buying MK8? Or is there another way to gift games on Wii U?
Yeah he is. Nordic countries got the code only now as we don't have Club Nintendo but there was other arrangements.

Awesome move!

10,2GB!

I already have W101 also, very good game, just give the game a bit of time because if you have played the demo the game will appear to be much harder to control than it actually is.

Good luck everyone & nice of the OP to do this :)

I love all Platinum games, the only ones I haven't played are Bayonetta (will correct this the next months, thanks Wii U! :) ), and Wonderful 101!
Good luck to everyone!

Ooooh, awesome. Was difficult deciding what to use my code on. Used it on Pikmin 3 eventually because I never played a Pikmin game before. Definitely interested in Wonderful 101 though, Platinum Games is awesome.
