What have they won? When people from the east coast get home from work, it will actuall get worse. I honestly don't expect this Halo download to finish in the next few hours. People coming home from work will probably go to sleep before it is done downloading. I don't know how they possibly could have misread the bandwidth demands. They need to put these trailers on Gamespot and IGN.

details:

master chief walks through a desert landscape with bits of wreckage scattered here and there. gentle piano music. cortana glitches in and out of view, and spouts cryptic phrases -- "i have defied gods and demons...i am your shield and i am your sword...i know you...your past and your future." chief approaches the camera for his closeup. the camera pulls out -- there's a huge covenant fleet over earth. the halo theme kicks in. the ground shakes. a massive forerunner artifact opens out of the ground. there's a flash of light. music builds to a really stirring refrain. cortana: "this is the way the world ends."
