I find it strange how people don't try to take down the enemy titans. There's nothing worse then being against of team with all their titans walking around. That's how I really know when I lost a match.

Even though I hate using a shotgun, I still use the shotgun class just for the anti-titan weapon. I really like its 3 round burst compared to the powerful but slow assault anti-titan weapon.

People are learning. I'm already seeing a lot more pilots jumping out while you rodeo their Titan and trying to hunt you, and using their Titan's as guards while they cap points, rushing a group of enemy titans, taking damage, and ejecting so they take out the group with the nuclear blast, etc...

Give it a little while, its only been in the hands of a small amount of players for a tiny amount of time.

The amount of "I hit him first multiple times but still die" is bad. Just had a match and shotgun blasts to center mass did nothing.

Last Titan Standing was the best game mode until I encountered trolls being trolls, by not releasing their Titan while everyone is going around the map like an idiot looking for the last Titan.

With the kill-cam that should only work once. Soon as I get killed by somebody sniping like that I just flank on my next respawn and kill them easily.

Which is why it's a good idea to keep moving

Sitting in one spot the whole time is just asking for trouble. There are usually various high points in each map.

I usually don't like shooters or even multiplayer at all but this game is really good.
Non stop action from beggining to end, short matches, no lag at all.
Also really enjoy the "ending" part, it makes you feel good even if you lose

Though, I don't see them all too often. And, when I do it's usually just one guy, maybe two. It's still a bit niche as far as my lobbies have went. Thank the Heavens for that.

I'm personally seeing a ton more shotgun play. Kind of frustrating on Hardpoint, but it's a shotgun. Those work pretty well in enclosed places, which is where most of the capture points happen to be located. And, at least it requires you to AIM YOUR GUN.

Anyways... I don't think it should be removed completely. Just have it do what I'm assuming most thought it could only do beforehand, by which it only Auto-Targets Bots. Auto-Targeting Pilots is just.. ugh. Maybe it should be demoted to a secondary, or an attachment. I dunno.

It would not matter if it took the entire match to target a Pilot. It doesn't matter that it's set as your primary, giving you what some would like to think is a handicap. Just look at an enemy and your job is done. That kind of mechanic does not belong in versus.

What were they thinking?

Stryder is nuts due to the mobility. The unlimited dash with the core is insane.

I've been having this problem all day. I enter the code I have and it just says something went wrong, try later and when I try and install it from the game demos section of the XB1 Store, there is no install or download option.

It's open beta on Xbox One,you don't need to register.

I'm also only getting the option to Pin/Unpin and Rate. They must have stopped letting people in.

Downloaded the beta and played a couple of matches. First impression is positive. Love the mobility the player has, running , double jumping, wall running feels intuitive and fast. The maps leverage this mobility really well and simply moving through the environment is a ton of fun.

It can definitely give you an advantage, but it can be just as big of a disadvantage if you're playing against Pilots who know what they're doing. If you're the only Titan on the map you stick out huge, and under focus fire from all the Pilots on rooftops you can get torn up pretty quickly.

Ah, I thought it was just "next titan spawned is x", I didn't realise you instantly spawn in it when the card burns.

For the last hour or so I am getting terrible stutter, the ping is low at about 35-50 but everything will move and stop, move and stop, and testing my connection around the home it's not me.

I know it's a beta but it's annoying me and makes it kind of unplayable.

Once you use them its active until you either die or the match ends plus it wont be in your deck anymore.

You might get it back when you get more cards though.

The point of the card is that your titan is immediately ready. You can activate it on match start.

Just finished a match and we straight up crushed the other team.

Had my Titan from when it landed for the rest of the match and took down 4 of theirs and fucked up numerous pilots. Didn't die once lol. Game just scratches the itch that BF and CoD no longer had for me.

It feels fresh but familiar and being able to scale the map so slickly just changes everything for me in terms of play good play. pilots can just get around skillfully.

That's countdown reduction on your Titan core ability (Damage core for Atlas). It works the same as killing grunts etc to reduce the countdown for Titanfall.

Do we know if they plan to put in a quick radial menu (I forget the proper term) to issue quick requests/ask for help etc as well as the text chat?.

It would be handy for pad players.

This game is so good. In other FPS I barely managed to reach third place, but in this one I have no problems in Hardpoint mode to be the first in my team or the best player during the match. Or maybe I am just playing with FPS newbies Capturing hardpoints is so easy and fun. Damn, I am really tempted to buy this game on release.

Can we talk a bit about cards? I'm finding the best to be:

-Pull Rank (-80 seconds build time)
-Ghost Squad (permacloak lolol)
-Amped Archer (the damage buff is ridiculous)
-Amped Smart Pistol (obvious)
-Prosthetic legs (add on an SMG or shotty for the most entertaining round you can have)
-Aural implant (see through walls)
-Supercharger (core ability as soon as you get into the Titan)


I'm not a big fan of the amped primary upgrades. Modest damage buff is nice, but it comes at the expense of whatever attachments you were running. I don't like the sidearm amps at all...but mostly because I don't really use the sidearms.
