I believe gamestop said the game will take up 23 gbs, so the dl is really compressed.

I like the idea of the pre-loading the game(no lines,avoid gamestop,ready at midnight) but I like physical copies more so I can trade/sell on craigslist when I'm done.

Microsoft says Titanfall's pre-load option was posted in error and it doesn't plan to allow Xbox One owners to download the game in advance of launch. A Microsoft spokesperson offered the following comment to Polygon:

"We believe in digital distribution, and are proud to give gamers a variety of ways to purchase and experience their games. However, pre-purchase and pre-download for Titanfall for Xbox One will not be available from Xbox Store. We'll continue to strike a balance between digital distribution and its benefits, while supporting physical games purchase through our retail partners."

"The pre-purchase offer page was posted in error. We apologize for any confusion."

Microsoft has since removed the page with Titanfall's pre-load details from Xbox.com.

Wait, what. How do you even manage that? This isn't an option for any other Xbox Live game. Yet they create a mythical preload page and accidentally upload it very shortly after Vince mentions you will be able to preload? I don't even...

I feel like if they were really serious about wanting digital to catch on it would be at least $5-$10 cheaper then the physical msrp. I mean Kmart has $15 back for purchasing the game, Best Buy offers a $10 reward cerficate plus 20% off with Gamer's Club. Where's the incentive? Maybe even release it a week early on digital. But no, same old console digital release.
