Going into Halo 4 alone can be so frustrating. I'm probably losing as many games as I'm winning these days... even if the enemy team are awful, my team is usually worse.

Whoa, what the hell happened?
I just realized I still have Mortal Dictata lying around, and really should get to reading it. I'm reading Under The Dome by Stephen King right now, and it's starting to become a bit of a drag. It's not a bad book, it's just too long for its own good. The fact that I've been spoiled on pretty much everything doesn't help in that regard, either, though I'm usually more of a "the journey matters, not the destination"-kind of guy.

Worst night of big team in a while. Just scrubs vs scrubs. My scrubs were always the -10, -15, -18 scrubs.

Also people who wanna do customs should post gametype/map combos they want to play. I seem to default as games master but I suck at picking regular Halo maps/settings. People giving me an idea what they wanna play will help. I need to go trawling for new maps and gametypes as well.
Are Gabo's newest gametypes ready for prime time?

Sabotage and a new version of Fuse should be ready by next weekend, I'll probably do a quick test match of Sabotage in the next few days with spme HaloGAFers.
We could also play VIP Countdown Escort mode and Rush Slayer next weekend, I have never played these modes with other people which is pretty ironic lol

I like the barricades it might offer interesting dynamic play, as they are placed by altering the paths to the primary objective. How does the door switch thing work? Does it cause something to despawn to provide access?

Yup, just imagine a building with three entrances, one of them is blocked by a door. By capturing the door you will despawn it and give your team another access route to enter and grab the data core.
There are other ways to spawn and despawn objects but that'll be another day.

Don't know if this has been posted, but today is Ragnarök, the Viking apocalypse and coincidentally, the most over-played BTB map in Halo 3/4.
In Halo 4, it is the only good map in the whole damn game (Longbow is decent in CTF).
In Halo 3, it is among the better BTB maps, can't recall what map i liked more though, if i did (certainly not Avalanche, now that one was really over-offered).
Seriously, both Reach and Halo 4 have horrible maps, i really, really wish this changes for Halo 5 but i don't expect that to happen.

lol, i agree, i'm just biased against BTB because of it's inherent nature to be a clusterfuck.

That will be an interesting variation of gameplay, by making the defenders having multiple entrances to contend with. What sort of weapons would you spawn with? to prevent things like the first stage of boneyard from happening?
Exile pre removal of the gauss hog and scorpion was easily the one that came up most often. After that changd happened it shifted towards ragnarok and its dull flow.
I'd say for me the most played has been exile and ragnarok by far. With longbow followed by vortex, settler and meltdown. Excluding non existent dlc of course.
The first few times I saw him post, I was sure his name was "I have lice"... I still see it that way most times.

Since i play exclusively BTB (99% of time), i ignore all non-BTB maps. Don't care whether they're good or bad, they don't exists as far as i'm concerned.
Haven looks nice but i never found it to be particularly interesting or fun map... Good? *shrug*, haven't played it enough.
Small maps and modes were fun in Halo 3, and in Reach when we had Squad Slayer.
