It's Frillard, he only appeared in City Folk and rarely at that. He would occasionally replace Dr. Shrunk at the marquee in the city.

Okay, not that I have to justify anything to you guys, but obviously I know they're Cucoos, the specificdesign of these particular Cuccoos just seemed strange to me, which we've established is because they have red faces which they only have in Twilight Princess apparently. Okay? Okay.
It's based off of the Cuccos from Twilight Princess.

We haven't seen any items on 3DS screenshots. As someone speculated in this thread is that Sakurai don't really want to zoom in 3DS screen to show the items.
Well as I sort of implied, I don't keep up with this thread everyday, precisely so I don't lower my expectations. So when I see an assist/new item I'm not necessarily to thrilled in the matter since I don't usually use items. Saying my post should be a bannable offense is just dramatic for the sake of being.

Ever since I heard about the Cuccoo item idea, I have been onboard with it but I really never thought it'd happen. YES!!!!
It makes me wonder what other ideas we've come up with as a group, that will end up making it since we seem so in tune with Nintendo's IPs & what Sakurai has to work with.

Hey, wouldn't it be neat if this time, Sakurai represented each iteration of a franchise through items & A.Ts? With Zelda so far, we have Skyward Sword, Majora's mask and the 2 mainstream items.
Before anyone says anything, obviously the Mario series is probably too large but they could rep the most iconic entries of the classic games and then the most iconic 3D ones maybe?
On a related note, is everyone psyched that we should definitely be getting A: 3rd party items & B: bosses, since Sonic & Megaman aren't being rushed into the game?
(I dunno what Megaman's could be) Flame,Bubble,lightning shield & Robotnik Egg walker pls

Okay, Guys. Don't bring torches and pitchforks out because someone just had different opinions than we do. Since it's more likely he is one of many people that like to play the games without items on. Smash actually have many different options for every players which is wonderful thing about the game. I would appreciate it if everyone would respect their opinions since it's their way to play Smash.

It's kinda the perfect item for encapsulating the essence of Smash as a party fighting game. I can already envision the cuccoo's spawning right in front of a character's fully charged smash attack and the CHAOS that ensues afterwards

It all looks good except the Dark Knut, which is a suit of Phantom armor that Toon Zelda possesses and I seriously doubt it is an item or AT since Sakurai has been extremely careful to point out when something is an AT or item or trophy. With the Phosphora trophy, he teases but then came out and showed it as a trophy so the Phantom menace is probably one of Zelda's moves. It probably soft confirms Toon Zelda as her clone as well, tbh.
Pic of the day. Never bully Cuccos. Seriously, attacking them is out of the question! This has always been a cardinal rule of The Legend of Zelda series.
Anyone else noticed that the background characters have considerable higher polycount now than on older screens?
