I've been having an issue recently where all my screenshots display as a gray screen. The only fix I've managed to find is to upload a screenshot, which then displays them all properly. Problem is I have to do this every time I boot up the system, as they appear gray again.

Is this a known issue that will be addressed in the next fw update?

Yeah it's a known issue. Previously it would crash the system with an error code. It no longer does that part.

That's a Microsoft format unfortunately. I imagine they'll support FAT, exFAT, and maybe EXT3 or EXT4.

Nope, you're completely correct; demos are pretty simple to find in the demos section.

OSX can read/write NTFS and so does Linux which is free even BSD which the PS4 OS is based on can work with NTFS.

You can set the controller to turn off after a set time. Along with the console. Set it up for 10 minutes if you like, turn on Netflix and chill.

OSX can only read NTFS. For writing permissions, you need Paragon NTFS drivers or similar.

Sure hope they'll support exFAT.

Just turn it off when the movie starts. Last update made it to where you can watch Netflix with the controller off.

I would expect so as people have found something of a loophole with screenshots where you send it in a PS message on your phone or something like that. Results in a less compressed shot

I think USB export would hopefully allow a uncompressed screenshot or video although depends on the formats they use etc.

Strider. I was using it a couple of months ago to prove a point. The US PS Store is marvelous. Sometimes when you're in a category, they'll throw up a recommended game in the top third of dead space.

PS4 *is* always recording (or it's supposed to anyway) so the manual record feature is for you to manual record only a set length of time to its own clip. Useful for those about to do something cool and don't want to fiddle with editing.
