If they're already allocating 20 minutes towards fucking Wonderbook I am not enthusiastic.

Edit: Just read OP's article, no mention of Wonderbook. It kinda says something about the state of E3 when a 20 minute Wonderbook demo is entirely believable.

Dont lie Shu. This year is going to be utter shit.

Noone wants to appear at a losers conference. The third party exclusive is dead and even exclusive content has now shifted to My Little Pony skins for Sackboy in Little Big God of War 3.8

Edge told me the AAA is dying, so we've got nothing but indie remasters and a 40 min interview with Lanning where he and I drink scotch and tell stories about the time we double teamed that barmaid in New Mexico.

No Jack, no Sony. And The Last Guardian turns out to be nothing but a Candy Crush Saga ripoff. Wonderbook turns out to be David Cages' 30 hour dissection of how the Mayan ghost in Beyond was based on a real life experience while he was addicted to meth.

Or you know...maybe not.

Have you been hitting Verendus' bottle?

When Gopher posts crazy shit there are usually some hints somewhere in there. Someone smarter then me will have to find it however.

Talk wonder book post E3. No sense in wasting time on something that shouldn't even be in the conference to begin with. I don't care if it is revamped for VR, AR or whatever fad technology they are pushing. I'm not interested in it in any shape form or fashion.

I know that 20 minutes doesn't seem like enough time to really explore the magic of Wonderbook, but they've got to allocate enough time for the ever-popular segment of the presentation when they present all the charts and graphs, and then they've got to have 15 minutes where Kaz Yamauchi comes out to tell us about GT: Vision: Prologue PS4 which won't come out until 2018.

Would MS really bother moneyhatting FF for their event? Didn't seem to do much when they did that with MGSV last year.

Meh!

They put out these same platitudes every year.

They said the same thing about last year's show, but then only shows 1 FRIGGIN NEW GAME, The Order: !886.

I hope they aren't planning to repeat that this year.

I gave up on The Last Guardian a long time ago, but I'm still hopeful for Final Fantasy XV (formally known as FF Versus XIII)

Would MS really bother moneyhatting FF for their event? Didn't seem to do much when they did that with MGSV last year.

I don't know how much it would really cost them. Plus it adds a great deal to the perception of how well a show carries itself. People associate the game with the console they see it advertised on (the casual / general gaming crowd) and that is a big win for MS.

It adds buzz to their event and gets people talking about 'that xbox conference'.

It'll be there. I'm expecting it there at least.

Change some of those "trailers" to "gameplay" and add Morpheus and I'm willing to bet this is accurate. Then various posters will defend the presentation saying they have no need to blow their load because they are so far ahead and that they are working on so much more than we know.

This can only mean Colony Wars for the Morpheus! Thank you yosp for finally listening to me ;)

This sounds frighteningly realistic, would be like most E3 conferences in the past couple of years, I hope your crystal ball is broken.

Uncharted 4 gameplay
The Order demo
Drive Club demo
New Media Molecule IP
New Guerrilla Games IP
God of War IV
Shenmue 3
End with The Last Guardian re-reveal and October 2014 worldwide release date

Boom

In all seriousness, Rime > Last Guardian.

It might be taking an absolutely ridiculous era to come to fruition, but I've played ICO and Shadow of the Colossus. I've also played Deadlight. And in all seriousness, no. Just no.

With regards to the OP, Sony's E3 conferences rarely have much in the way of actual new videogame announcements. Often they're announced in the weeks ahead of the conference, with the full debut trailer unveil there instead.

^ If Sony does this, it may be their best E3 ever!

I just hope there is a moment in the show where House comes out, or the new Tretton comes out and says something like, " I know last year we pleased our consumers by stating we are for Used games and against online activation type DRM, and now we are here to do something more for you. Starting September 2014, you will be able to digitally RENT all PS4 games, retail and digital via Playstation Now / Gaikai technology "

Then showcases the rental fees which should be something like

$.99 per day

5$ for 7 days

Something like that.

I would flip out and die happy.

Don't forget the ten minute montage of games we already know about set to dubstep and/or trendy pop music.
