I'll be reasonable and not list half a dozen things -- all I want is for the often-rumored Demon's Souls 2 to be real, and to be fairly far into development.

I'm not really that hyped to be honest but I'd like to be surprised. Naughty Dog turning into 2 teams, then the big boys of Team 1 leaving soon after and part of Team 2 fucking wasting their time on a TLOU remaster when a 3rd party studio can do it is disappointing. Stig's project getting cancelled and the 2 team SSM turning back into a GOW 1 team factory.

I know everyone talks about Uncharted and GT7. I care if LBP 3 and Media Molecule's new IP. I'm curious to see if GG's new WRPG, Sony Bend's game, whether Crash has come home and whatever IP Japan Studio might reveal that doesn't have a C level budget (DS2?). Curious to see if those topics will be checkmarked at E3 and Gamescom, and I add Quantom Dream's new IP due to curiosity, though my hype for that isn't quite at the level or previously mentioned games.

Sad thing is a good portion of Gaf seems to want it. Didn't like Dark Souls 1 or 2 as much so somehow they think a switch back to the old ip is going to bring back the "magic", even though it's pretty clear that Dark Souls was made as an evolution from Demon's. If they wanted to make a game more like Demon's, they could have done that.

Anyone who doesn't care and just wants the Demon's ip back makes me sad because that's about as shallow as it gets. I've yet to see someone explain what Demon's Souls 2 could bring that they couldn't do with Dark Souls or another ip, and once again I ask why in the fuck would they be willing to go back to exclusivity when multiplatform work has been far better for them?

IMO, they should resurrect some PS1/PS2 franchises, like MediEvil, Jet Moto, Rogue Galaxy, Jumping Flash!, Wild Arms, Dark Cloud, Rogue Galaxy, The Mark of Kri, Legend of Dragoon, etc.

They could certainly be given a fresh new start after they were long forgotten. :)

E3 Judges' Week should be coming up in mid-May. There's a small chance that there will be some leaks from that. Of course that's a very small chance because if you caught leaking info then they ban you from that event (Edge had an article last year that said one outlet was banned for leaking details).

Anyway, I'm not getting hyped, Sony might just pull the "we're doing fine, lets wait for when we need megatons" card like with last year.

I got way too hyped with last year's conference with DemonNite's countdown GIF's (damn you for getting me hyped for HL3 hahaha), and while I was happy, they really only revealed The Order which I loved, but dammit, I wanted more games.

I'm not really against indies, but I hope Sony's conference is more than that.

EDIT: Also, that GopherD's post. New Mexico+threesome? Half Life 3 confirmed.

They "jumped ship" because it took a long time for anyone to realise how great Demon's Souls was, including Sony. Namco just ended up getting there first (though they still took quite a while).

I have to wonder if the Demon's Souls 2 (or whatever it's called) deniers even have a clue about From. They've got 3-4 teams and Demon's/Dark Souls is their most popular series ever. Continuing two separate Souls series would make perfect sense.

Or you know...have both an exclusive souls game and a multi platform souls game and milk that shit from 2 teats rather then 1?

Every souls fan knows if there is a dark souls 3 and a demon's souls 2 both will be bought...FROM benefit from that decision. Especially if sony have a contract in place.

I know Wonderbook is cheesy, but I really can't help myself with weird stuff like that. I bought it for Diggs Nightcrawler, and while I didn't love the game I'm still happy I played it. It had its moments, and there were parts that really impressed me.

I still need the Walking with Dinosaurs game, but I don't know if its any good.

Edit: This will teach me to not read the article. There is no wonderbook, is there? :(

Microsoft and Sony both know that Nintendo are getting FFVII remake exclusively on WiiU so they're trying to hype their conferences before Nintendo and Square Enix destroy the internet
