Oh, Morningbus must be so happy right now! The guy surely loves his Serious Scam.

Seriously now (pun not totally unintended), what's new with the Revolution game? And what's new with Classics: Revolution? Can't access the Steam store, so I can't check it myself.

It's basically just fan-made remakes of TSE and TFE stitched together as one game:

Serious Sam Classics: Revolution is a unified version of the Croteam's original Serious Sam Classic: The First Encounter and Serious Sam Classic: The Second Encounter experience, which is currently in development by Alligator Pit, an indie development team made of Serious Sam fans with the support of Croteam. Serious Sam Classics: Revolution, along with newly developed content by Alligator Pit, also includes all levels from both Classics and is powered by an updated Serious Engine 1 featuring all-new advanced graphics shader support, full 64-bit compatibility, full Steamworks integration, and lots of bug fixes for a superior game experience.

It's in Early Access, though, so currently there's:

During the development in the Early Access phase, you can enjoy the following features:

Steamworks - Fully integrated with Steam powered servers, game browser, achievements, leaderboards, and more!
Frantic Arcade-Style Action - Fight your way through nightmarish warriors in Mental's army, including old favorites like the Beheaded Kamikaze, Sirian Werebull, Kleer Skeleton and new forgotten baddies that somehow got lost in time. Battle it out with three of Mental's fiercest generals to save the day or die trying!
Various Environments and Secrets - Unleash mayhem in 4 spectacular locations: Ancient Egypt, Mayan Civilization, Persian Empire and Medieval Europe. Discover over 100 secrets spread throughout the battlefield!
Special Weapons and Power-Ups - Wreak havoc with a huge arsenal of weapons including the classics such as the Double Shotgun, Minigun, Sniper Rifle and Cannon!
Co-Op Multiplayer - Embrace the chaos with up to 42 players! Play through the entire campaign with your closest friends or enemies!
Survival - Try your luck at the brand new Survival gamemode!
Versus Multiplayer - Drop the gauntlet and let the heavy ordinance fly in the classic Deathmatch and Scorematch, and when you've had enough of that, try out the all-new game modes unique to Revolution: Team Deathmatch, Capture-the-Flag, Control Zone and more!
Split Screen - Huddle up with up to 4-player local split screen co-op and versus modes!
Massive Updates - Fully updated engine with hundreds of bug fixes.
Full 64-bit Compatibility - Run on the latest versions of Windows with a fully working editor!
Advanced Shader Support - Write your own OpenGL shader programs and apply them in your levels!
Level Editor - Create your own levels, mods, textures and other content with the inclusion of the fully featured Serious Editor and the Serious Modeler!

With the following coming later:

With our regular updates during the Early Access phase, we will introduce the following updates over time:

A brand new campaign with new and exciting enemies, environments and a special ending boss!
The beloved Plasmagun and Minelayer from the Warped mod!
Even more new and refined gamemodes!
Even moooooore achievements, and icons for them!
A fully featured scripting engine for advanced mod creation!
More OpenGL shader integration like post processing and more!
More versus maps and fixes to the current ones based on user feedback!
For modders, we'll be adding a set of tutorial maps to showcase the new features we've added to the engine!
Steam Trading Cards!

Playfire Reward Discussion Thread: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=801210

But but but this way in May we'll barely get to 100 pages... :(

Took a lot less time for DS2 to click with me than DS1. Even still, there are times where you just have to get up and walk away for a bit. I'm looking at you (boss)
Ruin Sentinels
.
The game picks up slowly for new comers to the series (nothing wrong with that), but FROM nailed the atmosphere, the whole game is dripping with it!

Thanks. I don't see the point though, not when there's already TFE and TSE HD. Why can't they update those instead?

But, if I'm getting Revolution for free, who am I to complain? Let there be +1.

Serious Sam is a wicked gahbidge series for chowdaheads.
The Second Encounter always had a snow/ice level. Or at least it did when I played the HD version on co-op with a friend.

Little known fact: Serious Sam: The Second Encounter included two sets of levels that weren't in sand. They were still as shitty as everything else in the series.

I also saw a space level. Has that been done before, too?

It's weird because I started out shitting on the game and now I'm just trying to find out if they really are this creatively bankrupt.

It's okay. I'll just use these to wipe my tears:

The 365 is a dead giveaway for a scam/malware site, usually ;)

But they don't only sell cd keys, they sell physical stuff too. And not only games

To another mattter. It is my time to have problem with Steam Family Sharing and need help. I cannot longer see my friends games on my computer. I asked one of my friends to re-authorize my computer. Still no access to my friend's library.
Were there other solutions to solve this problem?

Hey everyone! :)

Just got my account activated a few hours ago! Really nice to finally be around you all. As a PC gamer with no consoles (neither last nor next-gen) I plan to stick mostly to this thread. I have also been reading you all for a while, while waiting for my account activation, so I should already be familiar with the thread dynamics.

I planned to celebrate my new membership with a small giveaway, so here it is. I had to struggle a bit with ModBot so that the Desura keys would show as such. Also, as a broke college student I really doubt I have anything of interest, but still... Enjoy!

Thanks a lot for Cave Story! :)

Has Salsa told you about the great 3DS?

Oh, good.
Looks like the moron-brigade is waterfall-racing Last Express cards to the bottom.

Yea I noticed it. I managed to sell 2 cards for 40-50c each. The last drop was a foil which isn't selling though :(

Family sharing stopped working for me today too. I'm told restarting Steam a few times fixes it but no such luck so far.

The longer this thread goes on, the more confused SteamGAF gets. We need dat reboot!

Fuckin' lawyer'd, son.

To be fair though, his original comment should have indicated that we have enough whining in this thread that we don't have to be stealing other thread's whining, too.

Whining will always exist, it's all about mitigation at this point.

Eh, the first one was social commentary on the amount of idiots that are allowed on our interwebs and not so much complaining about the money I get for selling cards, or lack thereof.
The second was because the thread is full of OMG I PLAYD A GAEM AND STILL HAVEN'T GOTTEN THE MONEY FOR THIS THING THAT'S IN BETA WHAT A RIPOFF posts, when the playfire thread was created specifically for these sorts of posts and the tech support thereof.
There is a difference =p

Barely, I demand equal whining-rights for everyone!

More on-topic: Did you actually play Last Express for a decent amount of time and experienced any serious glitches or was it just idling? Still haven't decided if I want to buy it after some not so postive reviews, even if it would be almost free due to card money.

edit: Oh no, Bob Hoskins died. Time to rewatch Super Mario Bros. Roger Rabbit. :(

I played the original, many many moons ago.
Currently idling for cards, as I'm (supposed to be) working.
I'll definitely play some of it in a few hours, tho.
I'll keep you posted.

Given how hard I had to search for a working copy of Gun Metal it is kind of bittersweet to see it in a cheap bundle every week. On one hand I'm glad it is getting more exposure. On the other it was a hard won prize of my PC collection.

I am buying my PS3/PS2/PS4(and of course psn and ps+ codes) and some pc games(sometimes keys and sometimes with box) from them (Started buying from them in 2010) and i never ever had a problem with them. And never heard of anything scam related.

Fine, maybe they're an exception to the rule (altho the fact that they send scans by email still means they're technically illegal key resellers =p).

Yesterday I didn't played a lot of Dark Souls due to a online date with a friend to play Metal Slug 3 co-op (I'm beginning to think I'm a masochist that enjoys games mistreating me).

So, my path on the world of Dark Souls continues.
I backtracked all the way back from that dark forest, killing Ents and made my way to UndeadBurg again.

I was lost for a while looking where did that Basement Key worked, at first I was confused because I had a "watchtower key" and unlocked a door near the place where I fought the Taurus Demon, downstairs there is this small but tough guy with a huuuuuge club. "Goddamn, that can't be the right path", I recovered my lost souls and swore to come back later.
Poolman to-kill list:
-The drakes from the Valley of the Drakes.
-That hydra thing on the forest.
-The red dragon on the entrance of the castle.
-The small tough guy with the club.

So I explored a little farther, and near where Solaire is I found this door that uses the Basement Key. Finally!
Went downstairs and fought some poisonous dogs, and several leaping guys from now on I will call Batrocs. After exploring a bit more and killing all that stood on my way I found a new fog door, but no bonfire on this area, decided to move forward and instead found a shortcut that leads all the way to the Firelink Shrine from the beginning. Also a lady zombie tried to sell me some moss. I bet she smells funny.

I decided to cross the fog door and face the famous Capra Demon. Just half a second after crossing, the bastard jumped in with two poison dogs. He is an honor-less boss that doesn't have the decency to have a cutscene and brings lackeys to his fight. I expected better from you Capra, also you are smaller in person.
He killed me a couple of times, but I learned a great deal out of those fights, he is slow, his swing with 2 hands is unblockable, the key to win this is to kill the poison dogs... also it seems to me he has a little weakness to a small power I carry... So Capra, I hope to fight your honor-less ass today, and I have a word for you:
