The new RR is starting to grow on me. Its not the spectacular track most expected, but its pretty cool.

It's so soul-crushing every time this happens. 3DW and DK both were at the top of the Amazon lists at points, and didn't really move the needle. Mario Kart is obviously different but still it's painful to get so hopeful

You guys have no idea how happy this makes me. If there's one game that desserves to sell well, it's definitely Mario Kart 8. Nintendo truly pushed the boat out with this game in every single aspect it's crazy! Here in Mexico several gaming stores are doing lot's of noise with MK8 offering all kinds of prizes to those who pre-order the game such as t-shirts, posters and even a "real" Mario Kart driving license with your photo in it, haha. And looks like people is answering to the call pretty well! Fingers crossed this can be the game that can finally put Wii U back on track at least by doing decent numbers here and there.

I'm 100% sure there is going to be DLC. In fact, it's probably already on the disc. Nintendo made A LOT of money on the NSMB2 and Fire Emblem: Awakening DLC, so now they're turning into Capcom.

I do think that some of the more recent representations of Donkey Kong are kind of creepy looking and I don't like them. I miss how Donkey Kong looked in the Donkey Kong Country games, I think it was much better. Actually, I like how all of the Donkey Kong characters looked better in Donkey Kong Country games.
