Count me in on the Nintendo hype train! Can't wait for the Smash announcements, along with all the surprise games. Let's-a go!

Imagine if Nintendo just dropped bomb after bomb this E3.

Release dates and info blowouts for Bayonetta 2, X, Hyrule Warriors and Smash Bros.

More info on Yarn Yoshi and SMTxFE.

Reveals for Zelda U, Paper Mario U, Metroid U (2D, developed by EAD), NFC new IP, 3D World and Mario Kart 8 DLC, Majora's Mask 3D, Dragon Quest VII localisation, Rhythm Heaven 3D, Wario Land 3D.

I still have no idea where this whole X looks like a MH clone perception came from.

I'm guessing the people who say that have never played an MH game.

Or Xenoblade.

Literally everything about it reminds anyone who has seen or played xenoblade, of xenoblade.

Most likely from people who haven't played either of the two.

Where would we ever get the idea that X

plays like Xenoblade

and not Monster Hunter.

I wanna be on the hype train, too!

I'm actually excited for this year's E3. Looking forward to whatever Nintendo and Microsoft are doing.

Does anyone else get the feeling that Yarn Yoshi may have been canned? We've literally heard nothing about it in over a year.

There's a Yarn Yoshi course in Mario Golf. I don't think it's canned, but it was obviously far too early to show it last year.

They showed it because the Wii U was selling poorly and needed to drum up some excitement.
Once it gets rerevealed it'll be released within 6 months, like 3D World.

I'm worried about that and SMT x FE. I'm hoping they just showed them wayy too early

As above, though it was even less into development than Yarn Yoshi, it was probably still in the planning stages.

I know, it bothers me, but it is Nintendo's fault for saying so little about the game.

Iwata explicitly stated that the game plays like a refined version of Xenoblade (not that that wasn't already obvious to anyone with functioning eyesight). Yet here we are.

I have a feeling the comparisons are going to keep coming up long after the game has had its big reveal.

Y'know, if Nintendo doesn't announce Majora's Mask 3D, there's gonna be some meltdowns in here if everyone's predictions are anything to go by.

While I understand the desire for it, I don't know why people are expecting it so soon after ALBW.
I definitely wouldn't expect MM 3D this year.

I feel another zelda remake would be wasted on 3DS, the OoT remake looked good, but it obviously could look much better and with a much bigger scope. If MM was ever to be remade I'd want it on wii U, or at the very least on nintendo's next handheld

Time for F-Zero UX, Star Tropics 3, Zelda U, Metroid x Star Fox and Shenmue 3. Oh, and while we are on this remake-train, why dont they announce the Final Fantasy VII Remake Betrayalton (for 3DS) as well?

I'm guessing cause they need 3DS games and we haven't heard from Grezzo in awhile. I think, no idea what they do.

Takamaru never gets any love. :(

That's one series I'd love to see revived Sakurai-style.

Well, the argument would be that Grezzo is working on it, and therefore it wouldn't have interfered with ALBW development.

Who knows, really. I just think it's funny how sure everyone is that it's coming.

I would like to be on the hype train.

My body is ready! I'm ready to be amazed and yet slightly disappointed at the same time. Still holding out hope that Geno makes it into Smash, and they announce a new F-Zero or Retro Studios to revive another old IP (I'm still betting on StarTropics 3). But I'll be happy with whatever Reggie gives us.

The problem is a lot of people didn't play Xenoblade and as such they see this and don't quite get it, it still looks like Monster Hunter to them.
Maybe people should just start saying it's a single player MMO.

Or maybe people should play Xenoblade and stop being bad bad gamers.

Man, I had forgotten how absolutely horrible those character portraits are. Hope that is fixed when the game is shown again.

Before that, I hope they work on some of the more intrusive UI elements or at least give us the ability to move them to the gamepad (if possible).

There no worse than xenoblade's infact xenoblade's seem worse, info it shows will most likely all be important.

It's definitely better than Xenoblade's overall, but...

There's still jarring stuff like that that I'm sure they could find more discrete ways of displaying rather than laying it smack-dab on the center of the screen.

You are right, I just forgot it on my list. Takamaru U incomming, a combination of Zelda, Ninja Gaiden and Tenchu and it will be game of the gen for everybody (except Polygon)!

Get me on that hype train!

As for my prediction:

Case 5: Nintendo announces they now own Platinum Games and have them working on a new StarFox.

I think the only 3DS game I'm excited to learn more about... other than Super Smash Bros... is the one being made by Monolith Soft.

Hopefully it's present at E3.

Hopefully it's present at E3.

This was art used to recruit for Monolith Kyoto which is just an outsource group that helps with games (notably, Skyward Sword and Animal Crossing New Leaf).
Not a real game.
The 3DS division of the Tokyo branch likely does have a game in the works, but it could just be another crossover like X Zone or Robot Wars.

I said it right after the Smash Direct, and I can still picture it clearly in my head head to this day.

Final information for Super Smash Bros. will be unveiled at E3, including more characters, with the last two being Miis and Captatin Falcon.
Falcon comes racing in on stage, jumps out of his Blue Falcon and proceeds to punch Mii Iwata in the face with his new 'Falcon Punch' final smash.
The video suddenly cuts to a new trailer for a full-fledged Sumo Digital developed F-Zero for Wii U showcasing 1080p resolution with beautiful visuals, deeper machine customization, track editor, 30-player online and more.

E3 done.

Now put me on that hype train!

Zelda U - After Miyamoto saying they considered showing it a whole year ago, I think it's crazy some people think we won't see gameplay. This is obviously going to be the big game, even if they have a surprise Metroid or FZero.

X - This'll be another big one with a likely story and name reveal. Hopefully we get another awesome trailer with some more detailed looks at the environments and enemies.

Bayo2 - Not expecting a whole from this except another trailer with more story stuff. Hopefully a Bayo1 port is announced too.

Smash - I'm expecting an epic new trailer with a shit ton of veteran reveals and at least two newcomers. In addition to that I'm sure we'll finally see the big single player mode.

Metroid - Whether it's for Wii U or 3DS, I really think one's pretty far in development. I'm personally hoping for a 2D one by EAD, but I'll gladly take a 3D or maybe one that's a smaller project.

Those are what I think'll be the five big games. In addition to those I think we'll see some mention/footage of these.

Zelda Musou
Yoshi Yarn
FEXSMT
Some new HD remake(s)
MM3D
Pokémon Gen III remakes
Hopefully an actual big Holiday game for the 3DS that isn't a remake lol

Also put me on the hype train!
