One day I realized that sadness is just another word for not enough coffee.
Hiroki Endo just got DEMOLISHED.

I think America, as a nation of sport lovers, love real sports too much to get into sport fiction.

Received some manga today, the final two volumes of Psyren (V15 and v16 (final)), so it brings me to my third full series released from viz that I have all of. Hopefully will read them once I finish infamous second son.

I'd like to take this opportunity to complain about scanlators goign with leveling until it's white and black too much, and "cleaning" images so much that it loses any detail or style the author puts into it. Woof. 10 year old complaints still exist. >=|

Cleaning is an art. Lots of respect for people that take the time to do a good job instead of killing every detail in an image.

Kyou kara Ore wa!! END

The greatest deliquent manga I have ever read. The rise of lord Mitsuhashi and his buddy Itou as the baddest and toughest deliquents of the region was a riot to read.

Great humor and great characters. So many great moments and laughs, so much bromance. Mitsuhashi is the greatest deliquent ever, he is such an asshole lol.

I am so sad its finished ;_____________; A must read.

I received the second volume of that today. Now I just have to wait to receive the first volume to actually start reading it.

END - Vol 1 - Elisabeth

I actually didn't finish reading this (only read 20ish pages), despite it being just, like, 60 pages because the art in it is just so good that I have been trying to take in every little detail from every page (a sample of the art can be seen here). What I've read though has been quite good, with the supernatural events, Elisabeth's strange situation and her companions' unnatural features.
Being a western piece in full color, it costed a lot (15€ for 60 pages) but so far, it was worth every single €. I can also see how it became an acclaimed best-seller already in France.

This arc is long as hell. I better get a Dragon or Yonkous appearance when this is done. BTW HAIL USOPP

Naruto

How the hell is Sakura still relevant. Easily the worst character of all time in manga history

Bleach

Meh

Toriko

AMAZING! I might make the frog my avatar.

Now back to reading Kingdom.

We've already had one. Big Mom is hanging out just off the coast, Nami and the crew members on the Sunny bumped into her. So even after Donflamingo goes down, shit still isn't done getting real.

The Legend of the Strongest Man, Kurosawa END

Man. I don't even know what to say.
A manga about a 44 year old, overweight construction worker who is going through mid-life crisis realizing he has achieved nothing worth being proud of in his life. That's a goddamn premise.
This begins as him trying to win over his coworkers, and ends up escalating further and further. Kurosawa himself is a very odd protagonist, being completely average, not better or not worse then the average man, fat, getting old, burly and ugly. With all that, one can't help but cheer him on through all this.
Fukumoto's art is something I really like. I know a lot of people do not like it, but I think it adds character to his stories. And because this is a Fukumoto story, you can expect the typical things he loves to put in. The metaphors, the zawa zawas, the electric realizations, but no gambling or Yakuza in this one.
I can't think of a lot to write about for this one, but I really enjoyed it.

How do you feel about the fact that there is a sequel now that you finished reading it

Well, it definitely felt like no sequel was needed. But I would have to read it and find out.

Yeah, given the ending the idea of a sequel sounded pretty weird. I also don't get why Fukumoto decided to go back to the series 7 years after it ended.

Now if only someone would translate it.

Vacation time is over!

Naruto

Uhm... We learned nothing new in this chapter, other than Naruto now can magically heal wounds now. What next?

Bleach

Looks like the focus on Kenpachi isn't over yet. Oh, come on, Kubo! Move along, please!

My wife is Wagatsuma-san

Is it just me, or the artist' drawings are getting progressively worse? The artwork of the male characters was never good to begin with, but now even the females are getting hit with the ugly stick. Ugh... what happened to Ran!?

Next up to read: Attack on Titan.

Any other examples of art getting worse as the series progresses?

I can think of 2: Noblesse and Hayate, the Combat Butler.

To be fair, Noblesse improves before it gets worse (and it got worse probably because the author is rushed as heck).
