That Nintendo list is at least more feasible than Sony and Microsoft's, but its just another another fake rumor list nonetheless.

I doubt X will be called Xenoworld. It just sounds too generic.

It's believable that Zelda Wii U it could possibly use the same parts of the environments in a different way like what was done in Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword to have Link collect objects/ battle monsters things. The game could be open world in a similar way that Wind Waker was, but with a bit more freedom in choosing a few more dungeons to conquer. Hopefully, the field environments are too big like in Twilight Princess, but also not as segmented and confined as Skyward Sword's were.

Smash Bros could be using the NFC figurines. God knows Sakurai likes to pack in a lot of content, and since the NFC figurines will only be compatible for Wii U this year, then it makes sense for the team to get the 3DS version out first, so they have enough time to polish the restof the game and impement the NFC functionality. Then next year, Nintendo can implement NFC and cross-compatibly for this on 3DS at a later time (I suppose it would require some kind of peripheral). As for DLC, Sakurai did say he would consider it, but I don't think he'll end up supporting it especially if he has to do the NFC support for both platforms.

I don't believe Retro Studios will show its new project because its only been in development for a few months according to the developer.

Hard to say what Next Level Games is up to, but the previous project they had been working on before being assigned to Luigi's Mansion 2 probably makes more sense for it o be a 3DS title as well, but is it Metroid? I don't believe it is.

Starfox... please be true (probably too good to be true). I'd hate to see Nintendo ditch Platinum with no other projects after Bayonetta 2. Miyamoto's said he'd like to see IPs like Starfox kept internally developed for the future, but then again, Miyamoto says a lot of things, doesn't he ?

Maybe the Monado appears as a different kind of weapon in X even if its setting is based in the future of Bionis and Mechonis.

Honestly, if we're going to get in to this, there's no way this is a sequel to Xenoblade. Or if it is, then obviously the Bionis and Mechonis no longer exist.
The game obviously takes place either far far in the past (before the Xenoblade world was created) or in a completely different universe.
So far, we have clues that they are trying to colonize this planet and that it could be based more on Earth's own heritage (as we can see something that resembled a United States flag and the words "United States").
This fits so well with the original idea of Xenogears 1 that there's just no way this ties in with Xenoblade, outside of being based in the larger Xeno universe.

Aside from all the other issues with that leak, i stopped reading at X being like monster hunter. Sounds like someone looked at the gameplay and just took a shot in the dark they don't seem like they know anything special
While the list is obvious bullshit in so many ways, it's not because of that. The author isn't claiming the game itself would be like Monster Hunter, but he meant that the coop would work similarly. I.e. Get a group for single missions and things like that.

Why is everyone believing that rumor? Its the typical my friend works at Nintendo thing...
Can you point out a single person here who believes it?

Rumors are always fake until proven true. That is how I look at it. There is nothing really stunning to talk about in said rumor. Seems like typical guesses that imply falsehood.

Especially Nintendo rumors.
If it doesn't come from USA Today or Nikkie, then it's 100% fake.

I am triyng to think when was the last time a e3 rumor was true?
Nikkei leaked both the 3DS and WiiU before their E3 reveal.
But, again, they're reliable and it's never a rumor.
IGN leaked Donkey Kong Country Returns a few days before E3, I suppose that could count.

Can't be legit, after all, gaf has categorically told me it's impossible for X to be anything like monster hunter.

Can't even be arsed to read, eh? They didn't say it was "like Monster Hunter", they said it had co-op like Monster Hunter (and every other game in existence that features co-op), which is true.

By the way, it's not NeoGAF that's telling you X isn't anything like MH, it's fucking X telling you it's nothing like MH. Christ, dude. :/

Didn't made it and it's from last year. Never knew who did.

I also suspect that there will a section of the Nintendo booth dedicated to cell phone apps as well.

iOS/Play store section.

  • Official MiiVerse App
  • Mario Kart 8 TV iPhone App
  • An expanded version of the Pokedex App.
  • A Pokemon Card game related app.

There's a prediction... based on information..... Okay. I suspect it will be a tiny section of the booth.

There will also be a section of the booth right next to it with some new licensed products. Kind of like they've had at their booth in previous years.

Nah won't happen. Nintendo handles those as web apps (like recently announced Mario Kart 8 app). They will probably make one native iOS app but that is something they'll just announce and release right away. The right place for these things is not E3 at all.

I like the name Xenoworld sounds good but if it were up to me I'd name it Xenoblade 2 or Xenoblade "subtitle"

It shouldn't be called Xenoblade, Gears, or Saga; though it takes inspiration from all three in different capacities, I very much doubt there is any continuity between it any of them. It's going to be another individual entry in the Xeno series, you can count on that.

XenoEdge has a nice ring to it.

So according to Pachter, (Ya I know) he thinks Nintendo will have the most announcements at E3 this year. That's what he thinks but whatever.

I actually think there's going to be a lot of games from them.

Whether they are noteworthy or not, that remains to be seen but I'm getting this vibe of "it's going to be actually a good showing" from them this E3.

I think part of the reason I have a lot of hope is that Iwata said some games shown would be very early in development.

It certainly feels that way when Iwata said they'd announce games both far and early in development.

It also helps that Nintendo is actually hyping up this E3. Something they never do for any event.
Plus, the first look at Zelda can't hurt!

Either they have a lot of games to announce or their development resources have started shifting to their future platforms (to have a better lineup to drive install base early on).

It's pretty crazy to think that folks that were working on Mario Kart 8 are quite possibly starting on thinking what Mario Kart 9 is going to look on the next Nintendo's handheld system. The question is how many developers over at Nintendo is thinking into the future like this.

The one per system teams, no doubt, are.
But those aren't very many.
Most of their teams are still probably planning WiiU titles or 3DS titles. With a few maybe spitballing some next generation handheld games.

It sounds nice but Xenoedge, Xenoworld and Xenomech (what I thought it might be) all look a little strange if it's not written with the second capital compared to Xenoblade/Xenogears/Xenosaga.

Edit: Also saying it out loud is a bit funny (I keep saying zee-no-wedge instead of zeh-no-edge).
