People have been more satisfied with the Xbox 360 than the PS3, so in that respect people have less of a need to upgrade in the short term due to regular updates for the Xbox 360.

Funny thing is that actually PS3 owners (who like Japanese games) have less of a need to upgrade due to upcoming PS3 games like Tales of Xillia 2, Tales of Zestiria or Persona 5. Despite of that the PS4 is selling.

I noticed a subtle shift in that interview where Yusef described Kinect as voice and biometric ID rather than the usual voice and gesture.

That seems like a better way to run with it anyway, imho. The gesture based aspects of the Xbone UI just don't work for me at all. Voice has its uses though, at times.
