Old computer games you're pretty sure no one but you ever played.

Overlord I think it was called. It was 4x like, but not quite a 4x game. Very old game. Got fond members of Wolfpack and Command HQ as well.

Blake Stone. A wolfenstein clone that I kinda enjoyed. For years I figured no one had even heard of it, but apparently it gets some love.

I'm not talking about Starsiege:Tribes, I'm talking about the original Starsiege with mechs.

Have yet to find anyone who played it.

Legend of the Zoombinies if that's the name

Wow I remember I bought this at Costco way back then, actually my mom bought it for me lol. I played the hell out of this game. Also got a good size physical manual with the game that you never see included anymore

FX Fighter. I found it in a discount bin for $5 and still have it laying around somewhere among my stuff.

Apparently there was a sequel and an SNES version that was canceled.

Cyberia 2.

Mostly a rail shooter with graphics that really wowed me as a youngster. Had no idea what the story was about since I never played the first Cyberia, nor did I really care. Had some pretty awful animation for the human characters though, and equally awful voice acting with lines that my brother and I still quote to this day. Also the on-foot sections were really bad, but the soundtrack had some nice tunes. I do wish it was on GOG.com though, would like to revisit it.

Some game I used to play a bunch with like a gofer and carrots in a garden.

No idea what it was or how to figure out what it was.

Tried the "games you remember" thread a few times with no response.

Not played any of these, but have to say, find the descriptions of some of these games highly amusing.

Only game I can think of that isn't Wolfenstein, Commander Ken, or anything of like that is obscure to even me is one thing, but I lack its name. Not sure I'll even be able to give it a fair description, but it was a fighting game with robots. If I recall right before battle you would pick and choose your robot parts. It had two player as well because I would battle against my brother. I've never been able to get an answer out of anyone I know, but I'm sure my brother would remember the game, but lack the name as well.

One of my first indie games (I was 12 or 13) and my first 2D JRPG ever. Plays like an SNES Final Fantasy, but with a lot of blood and 90s anime angst. I love it... even though it's terrible. Download it free right here.

There was this really cool pac man clone I loved on this compilation disk I had bought...I wish I could remember the exact disk.

It also had a cool game where you move rocks with a bulldozer

One Must Fall 2097, one of the most famous DOS games.

Not obscure.

Ready, GAF? I'm about to lay down those 90's/early 00's classics.

I honestly don't remember much about this game, other than that it combined your typical Sim-ish construction and management stuff with isomorphic point-and-click adventure game mechanics. Weird game, but fun for a kid really into trains.

Weirdest Bomberman I've ever played... Probably also my favorite.

The cow and chicken voices were just weird, and it had bugs and an aesthetic that made it seem like a Thai ripoff.

Some computer game where you were climbing a mountain that had ski lifts and I think the objective was to grab a flag. Game may have had Mickey mouse in it.

Every Disney movie "Activity Center" ever. There's nothing I want more to relieve some of the games of my childhood, but it's impossible, even on the youtube side of things. Apparently, 102 Dalmatians Activity Center isn't a hot topic in the let's play scene.

Those f'ing henchmen, man.

I remember 102 Dalmatians. Haha I hate those harder levels.

it was a shareware game that came in a CD. Don't remember the name, but it was a FPS (not REALLY a shooter, it was a kid's game... so it was more of an FPExploration, or something like that) and you could pick either a boy or a girl as your character, the main evil dude was a wizard (or something like that) and the stages were mazes with stone walls.

Maybe someone else here has played it.

quoting myself because I found it: I. M. MEEN.

Apparently it wasn't Shareware at all, but still...

here's a screenshot

Bugdom.

This was quite literally my SHIT in elementary school.

Who needs Oregon Trail? I dropped that after playing it a bit as a class. Bugdom was only installed on the Mac computers in the after-school activity trailer
Played it on a school mac one day.

This was my GOAT as a kid:

I can't seem to find it through Google.

I believe it was only a demo, but it was a Mac game that had you play as a contestant in some weird reality TV game show that involved beating up other contestants, or something like that. It had a comedic element to it, and was in 3D. There was also narration by a host.

Does anyone remember some old as fuck elementary school game where you typed in commands and a tomato would respond?

Also, some other game on the Mac II. Something about a detective solving puzzles, it was like sidescroller.

and FUCK ME PREHISTORIK!!!

Castle of the Winds:

I think I got it from a CD that came with a magazine way back in the mid-90's. Was a lot of fun, despite its simplicity. The character graphic used an icon file, so I used Locke from FF3/6 for mine. lol
