Well... I personally saw enough is what I should have said.To be fair, we haven't seen anything.
Not sure how that's possible on wii u in US. That would put it above wind Waker and like 99% of all games on the system. Actually I think it would make it the 2nd best selling haha.
It'll sell in that much though. Which is what he means tho
Unless Mario kart 8 brings a rennisaunce
They are probably a million people who buy anything with the Zelda name on it, sure
How much did Crossbow Training do
it might be possible.
the game has to review well.
...Ha. Nope.
50% of the reviews will be "omg!!!! nIntnedo u ruined my ZelDa!!!!!!!".
The other 50% will be "Hyrule Warriors won't save the Wii U".
100% of the reviews will be "With a struggling console, you'd think Nintendo would try and bring the big guns to save it, but no, it preferred to run its most legendary franchise in the mud with Hyrule Warriors instead of Zelda U."
Mark my words : other than some Nintendo centered websites, Jim Sterling is probably the only one who'll give this game a good (and fair) review.
To be fair, everyone bought it because it came with the zapper (in the states at least) and the Wii sold peripherals like no ones business.4.8M
More than Skyward Sword

More than Skyward Sword
I think that says more about how much they put into the game than anything else.

Yeah, the number sounds a bit aggressive, bit if it reviews well and has decent advertising behind if, I think it's possible. That's roughly 300k per main market... definitely possible, LTD. Provided Nintendo just doesn't drop this without any sort of advertising, this should be doable.
I don't think that's going to happen. A niche game in a popular series on an extremely niche console? Eh...
But still less than Twilight Princess.
Arguably, it could be down to release dates. Crossbow training launched in 2007 mid wii boom, and about a year after twilight princess, able to ride the hype off that, vs skyward which came out in late 2011 when wiis popularity was either crashing, or already crashed.
Its releasing this summer in Japan and we haven't heard a peep from it in 5 months, E3 Nintendo will hype the Wii U Zelda. That's roughly 300k per main market... definitely possible, LTD. Provided Nintendo just doesn't drop this without any sort of advertising, this should be doable.
Crossbow Training was actually pretty great for what it was (a free pack-in) have you actually played it?
I anticipate misleading marketing making this game look like something it is not.
It was also $20-30 and came with a toy.
This is kind of how I see it. When this was revealed, GAF may have called it crap because it's general dislike of games like this. Your average consumer sees a large scale action game in the Zelda universe with Link mowing down hordes of enemies. If they show an awesome cgi cutscene montage of Link and co fighting hordes of monsters...
They'll steal America's heart.
Between a dedicated Musou fanbase and a dedicated Zelda fanbase I can easily see this happening.

Hyrule Warriors is already dead.
As a fan of both series, I'm thinking the same thing.
It'll easily sell 1 million. The only thing holding it back will be the systems install base.

Game looks awful IMO. I doubt it. Real Zelda at E3 on the other hand...
If a Zelda game isn't announced for Wii U at E3, I doubt one's coming, and this will get a lot more visibility as a result. It could break a million.
