Tempted to pick this up on Steam, hmmm. Kind of want to wait for the reviews. I played Return to Castle Wolfenstein on PC, played a ton of multiplayer, so much fun.
For me though my first Wolfenstein experience was Beyond Castle Wolfenstein, back on the Apple II. I did some googling and it looks like this is unrelated to id's games.

As a kid in grade 7 or so I had alot of fun with it. Stealth, disguises, trying to kill Hitler, oh yeah. Unfortunately the cracked version I had would crash after I armed the bomb.

Return to Castle Wolfenstein was a great game, with great textures. Is there any hope for this game?

That's cool, I pre-ordered awhile ago because of the $20 in reward zone certificates but it's nice to know I'll be getting another $5 on top of that as well. It sucks that they won't give them to you until two weeks after the purchase date but it's still a great deal. I'm basically getting the game brand spanking new for $35.

Never followed the hype behind this game. Quite enjoying it though, its definitely a Wolfenstein game. Visually (PC) its very good and the actual gun handling with what I have played through so far is up there as maybe the best I have played in a fps, it feels well weighted playing with a wireless 360 pad, hell even the story seems interesting with all the naration, something I really didnt expect.
Those saying it looks mediocre must be on crack because it looks fine to me.

Welp, is a 15-20 hours game so there's nothing odd on it when your average COD/BF campaign can be done in 4 hours.

I'd much rather get the physical copy and install it from the disc than have almost a third of my data cap(150GB) eaten up by 1 game.
Wrong! Its odd for a shooter in ANY day to lack multiplayer. Its only been a staple for 20 years of FPS gaming. Im hoping this bombs so this wont become a thing. 😈
Hopefully whenever they decide to use preloading they'll solve it, but it's never been right at 12:01 (regardless of timezone). Always seem to show up 12:15-12:45 EST or PST.

I list the modes in videos here. There's a hardcore mode (no HUD no ammo, no shields) and two others.
Finding all the Enigma codes in the level is pretty tough though. Still miss one from the very first chapter.
