One less cable I guess? Also most 2.5" drives are 5200rpm so they are slower. If you don't mind the extra cable for the power plug go 3.5"

Im soooooo glad I went all digital this gen. The fact that I can put all my games on an external drive and then take it over to my friends house to play with NO INSTALL is amazing. All I have to do is login to his machine. I've got a 4 TB ready to go.....

Not mentioned buy they obviously know about it as in the Beta Forum there are hundreds of threads regarding "3D" and "DLNA".
I do hope that the July Update will be the "Media" Update where they include 3D, DLNA, MP3-Background Play.
With these 3 most of (my) major points in die OS would be resolved.
Hard drives fail. The hassle of sending in your machine for a repair and probably losing the data is larger than transfering it while you're multitasking.
Space isn't the only thing either. You can get a HD from a better manufacturer, increase the RPM, and even go for a Hybrid SSHD or SSD.
It shouldn't be one or the other. External has its benefis, but they do not completely replace or outweigh internal upgrading.
Sony can easily add external support and I hope they do. And I hope MS adds the ability to replace the internal drive in the future.
I feel the same way. Plus the majority of people on my friends list are people I know from years of playing on the Xbox 360. I'm more familiar with their gamertags when I use the system than I would be their real names.

If anyone wants an invite to Xbox Early Access (update preview) simply follow/friend me (t4z0) on Xbox One or SmartGlass and I'll add you back and send an invite. It generally takes about a day or two before Xbox Live sends you a download code to get the preview registration app, but then you're all good to go!

Give me the ability to play my physically bought games without a disc. That was the best feature before everyone complained. Ability to get deals from anywhere and make the title digital. Now if you want a digital game you only have one store to choose from and they have horrible deals.

Why did I do that?
I bought BF4 and that's it. I think that may be my last physical game, depending on how the deals with gold program goes.

Currently buying almost everything digital as digital is way cheaper than physical for me. €20 solely for a box is a bit too much. Ah well I'm going to buy a used copy of those games anyway when the used prices drop.

Since I can't post a new thread, I'll just put this here and someone will hopefully awnser it.
Long story short, I won't an xbox one from a contest, an american contest. Thing is, I'm from europe and the xbox one is an american one.
How do I get this thing going? I don't wan't to fry shit, since there is a voltage difference.
What do I have to do? Do I have to replace the american power brick with a european one or what?

Every time I insert an audio CD (I know, dinosaur), the system OS complains it's not a game or movie disc. And then the CD player app doesn't recognize eject (!) so after playing some Primus this morning and then putting in some Miles Davis, the UI is still Primus--all track listings, art etc. I don't even see a way to force a refresh in the app.
For the home media convergence box of the future this is some sad amateur hour. If the DLNA stuff worked well at least you could say it's about supporting digital, blah blah.
