Hopefully we'll get at least five new first party title reveals this E3. Even five reveals isn't that great IMO...

I think 5 new first party titles (and re-introducing TLG) would be pretty amazing for one event. They haven't showed any footage or details for most of the games they announced last year. And there's other games that haven't been at any of the US/EU events or officially announced outside of Japan despite the trademarks and comments by the devs being at E3 this year (Deep Down, Lily Bergamo, and Guily Gear Xrd).

Although, it would be cool to see them go all out and announce most of their games at E3. They could use the other events for details, screenshots, and videos throughout the year.

Alternative theory: It's a personal favor to GAF! Bring in the people most likely to flood the place with reaction posts. Then again, reading/posting on GAF while watching in a theater while literally eating popcorn is multiple layers of meta.

This is something I'm curious about. On the one hand, it'd be kind of annoying to have everyone's phones being distracting in a dark theater. But on the other hand, I have a lot of fun following reactions and giving my own live via Twitter/Internet forums during E3 events. Generally theaters are pretty clear with a no phone policy, but I'm curious if the rule will be the same with this event.

Yeah I'd go at least an hour early. If it's going to be hot where you are, not sure it's worth waiting too long, like here in Phoenix, forget that. I guess they might let you wait inside.

Well if all ticket holders show up your wasting your time. I would probably show up 30 minutes early. Then if you don't get lucky you won't have wasted a crap ton of time. You can hurry home and watch it online.

Cool, thanks guys. 30 min - 1 hour sounds ideal. I certainly hope I'm not forced to wait outside because it has been rather hot here in NYC lately. I would also be really pissed if I showed up early and they didn't have any seats remaining. It would take me almost an hour to get home so I would end up missing the conference. I can't allow that to happen xD

I honestly can't imagine how bad a stream would look like blown up to IMAX size.

It would be fun to actually be in a crowd for an E3 conference.

Are they going to stream @ 4K resolution? AMC has been upgrading their theaters to use Sony 4K projectors. That as a tie in to launch the 4K PS4 and 4K TVs. Then of course as everyone has commented they have to have content worthy of this effort.
