Watch Playstation's E3 conference in movie theaters

I signed up, and got my confirmation emails, but both emails are tickets under my "Guests" name, not my name.

Fuck me, now they're on a waiting list. Registered again as only myself, hopefully I get in.

Freaking crap, why would they label both tickets under as the guest instead of me?

Wow, that sounds cool. Imagine sitting with dozens of fellow gamers, who you know enjoy and are passionate, in one room reacting live and together to all the stuff - good, bad, funny, embarassing. Sounds really interesting.
Some gaffer should livestream from one of the cinemas. Someone who has contacts with one. Seriously, I'd watch the livestream of the livestream.

From email.

First come, first served? What's the point of a waiting list, then? I can already see it, a giant group of dudebros stewing in the Oklahoma sun all day, moving like a herd into the theater 15 minutes before showtime.

The Axe, it does nothing!

You realize this is a Playstation event, right? Or are you just trolling by grabbing as many seats as you can?

Not sure I'd want to go to a theater just for watch a conference. Regardless, there isn't any theater even close so it really doesn't matter.

Like GAF will even be up during the conference.

It survived the Project Beast leak, i would say that was a pretty good test for the servers.

Damn if only there were more seats, I'd car pool with some GAFers. Long Island always forgotten even though we the backbone of NY. Time to split from this state.

I have a little bit of a problem.

Dad registered for the event for my mom and I. He used the same email for both of them, and now he's received a confirmation email that says both tickets are under his name.

Should there be any problems if both of them show up with a ticket with the same name? I can provide a pic -

Normally this should hype me but sadly I'm more worried now, lol.
This could mean they'll show PSNow and/or PSMorpheus in a bigger way now and will waste too much time on them.

Something I noticed; they specifically bring up the Playstation Surprise thing in the ad for this whole thing.

If it was just shirts/lanyards and such, they would just say prizes. That's...very specific.

Hrm.

They allowed you to grab up to two tickets, for you and a "guest".

When I registered I signed up for two tickets, me being the "primary" and my "guest" being a friend.

Both tickets I received are under my Guest's name. So the confirmation both say:

Caleb
Caleb

instead of

Luis
Caleb.

Mine was screwed up to, just act like you're going to forward it, then go in and type in the right names for when you print it out, it's just standard text in the email, easy enough to alter and print any names you want after the fact.

Fuck, I'd pay money for such an experience, it's like watching E3 livestream with NeoGAF comments but in real!

Seems like a lot of people are getting the double guest name on tickets problem. Hope they fix that or say it doesn't matter.
