Watch Playstation's E3 conference in movie theaters

Don't think shirts were for all spots, Philly definitely didn't have them.

Very fun experience overall. Fathom reps did great and kept things moving very quickly, especially for 2 people.

Theater was mostly full, the only reason it wasn't a complete sellout was because of a few seats here and there. They used the Regal RPX screen, so there were about 500 seats there, and the comfy ones.

The swag was as I expected, but the experience in theaters was pretty slick. I'd definitely do this one again.

It was pretty great! There was some glitching in the signal at Nashville, I assume because of the bad weather.

Also, was there a group of gaf dudes sitting together at Nashville? I think I might have been sitting behind you guys (lots of "nice to meet yous" etc).

Yeah, those glitches were annoying. I was sitting near the front with 2 others, but I doubt you're referencing us.

Walked out of Toronto theatre, the dude put a weak ass poster in my hand, I gave it back to him like, "nah.." and put it back in the pile.

A T-shirt I'll never wear and wristband that cuts off my circulation.

And if this code is really for a BF hardline beta I'll give it away to someone who PMs me.

Destiny alpha and hard line. $5 voucher and poster

where'd you get this 5$ voucher from??

when I entered my code all I got was

"Thank you! An email with your Destiny First Look Alpha code will be sent on 6/12, and an email with your Battlefield: Hardline Beta code will be sent on 6/16."

only got a promo poster...if you can even call it that...no shirt or wristband for me in nyc.

I left at 11:10 when it was supposed to end at 1130 so maybe i missed out due to that. nbd to be honest though

People should stop referencing data that makes me feel uncomfortable because games get ported to platforms I don't like
Got stuck in 2nd shift to go to my reserved spot here in Chicago so if anyone got a spare code to give to this fellow GAF member it would be greatly appreciated.

I thought it was unique to us, cant believe this is happening elsewhere.

Still calling to get san antonio gaf together to eat afterwards. We have 3 people in our group, I know there are more of you in here! I'm the big guy with the mg rising shirt!

Didn't go. I couldn't but lets hang out anyway sometime. I am down

If anyone has a code for BF hardline or the Destiny alpha and they don't want them I would greatly appreciate it. Sorry for begging btw.

Didn't get a t-shirt here at Virginia Beach, but it was a very well ran presentation and the mostly packed theater screamed, whooped, and hollered at all the games.

Houston had no shirts. Just a poster. I wouldn't even call it a poster. lol

Will post full impressions tomorrow after work.

All I got was the poster and the lanyard, in Nashville. However, I left before the exclusive thing at the end finished (and I'm happy I did because the weather turned out awful)

I was sitting in the middle area :/

Drove to the event in Birmingham and I'm really glad I experienced this instead of watching it on my computer. By the responses it sounded like others there enjoyed it too.

I'd like to know too. I saw on the site it mentions the $5 PSN credit, but I got the same message.

Also, I posted earlier saying I'm sitting behind some guy browsing GAF on his phone in Buffalo on the left side. Whoever you are, I saw you read my post and choose to ignore it.

Just got home from the minnesota showing. The lady checking people in made it seem like we were going to get something awesome at the end. She repeated over and over not to take off my pass as we are getting something after the show. Sure enough I walk out and they are handing out posters. I had high hopes for some reason that sony was gonna go all oprah on our asses.

Meh. I was at that one as well, it was nice to hear the positive feedback when the Naughty Dog logo showed up at the end for Uncharted 4. I just couldn't get as hype because I was sure it was going to be there.

I'm pretty sure multiple people got seizures in the Phoenix showing. There were some problems with the feed during times that caused the screen to flicker like crazy.

SAme thing happened in Boston. Sounds like it might have just been the feed Sony was using for the events everywhere.

In Dallas the video quality was generally bad and there kept being video glitches throughout the show. Disappointed in the free stuff(an alpha and a beta that I could have already registered for by myself and gotten, a $5 gift card for PSN, and a 30 day music network pass which nobody cares about. I met a couple of cool people though, so that is a plus. LBP3 got a huge reaction in my theater. People loved it. Uncharted looked incredible. Disappointed no Parappa. I left after the no man's sky interview on the post show. Was there anything else good after that?

I can understand that. I wasn't really going into this conference (or the others) with too many expectations so it was nice to see it there and in-engine, even if it was short.

Nice meeting y'all out there! It was definitely a different experience watching E3 in a movie theater.

Real cool. Will do it again :)

I had a lot of fun. MiamiGAF definitely showed up as there were a few NeoGAF shoutouts followed by cheers from the audience. We didn't get no shirt though. :(

Had a blast at the SF show, and meeting up with a fellow GAF, xenorevlis! I over heard him mention GAF to someone, and I told him I posted there too! Crazy thing, he asked me my username, and after I told him, he said that he JUST PM'd me after seeing my name on the Google doc!! Seriously small world and crazy! Had a good time chatting with him and his friend.

I was on the wait list, but thankfully was able to get in. Once I got in the theater, they saved a seat for me. Good guys.

Stream was choppy at parts for us too. Gave the show some humor due to moans and groans from audience. Show also gave me motion sickness a bit, which was really strange.

Excited to try out destiny alpha and overall had a good time. Would go again!

Somebody describe the collective orgasm in the room when they announced Uncharted 4.

"MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEH"

Seriously though, people weren't amazed or anything. By far the biggest reaction of the night was Little Big Planet 3.

When someone gets the email, can someone toss the URL for the page where you punch in your code? I have no idea where to enter this thing.

Came back a while ago. Was going to replay on the way out of the Mission Valley theater, but the battery on my phone died.

Aside from a few major feed hiccups and the boring Powers TV pitch, which was perfect for a bathroom break, it was a pretty good conference. Nothing too groundbreaking, but not bad either.

I was lucky to get in, and the crowd I was with provided a great atmosphere for the event. I'm really glad I went.

Besides the feed being a little wonky at times the entire experience was enjoyable. Surprised that the crowd got so hyped over LBP3.
