I don't think there could be a "miscommunication" about a Vita version being developed -- that is way too big of a mistake for there to not have been some sort of recent change that was more involved behind the scenes. At the same time I can't really fathom them planning to only announce the PS4/Bone versions and then the Vita later on its own -- they'd have to know there would be serious backlash. Crazy situation. Unprecedented basically.

So this ISN'T coming to Vita....after all of us requested the VITA to get the game, its coming to the platforms we DIDN'T ask the game for....

To put it bluntly, FU Sony and Square; this is a game that could really help sell YOUR struggling handheld, has a portable version to work with AND there is proof that FF sells on Vita (didn't the FF X/X-2 remaster sell well?).

But nope, lets ignore ALL those factors and release the game one platform that makes SOME since (PS4) and another platform that makes no since at all (considering FF really doesn't have a history with Xbox outside of the XIII games).

And I don't want to here "but it IS on Vita, you can remote play the game!", there are people who don't OWN a PS4 yet (or even plan to get one). What about those people X(!

...At least the game is coming and we still can play the fan-translated version that they were nice enough to spend all their hard time and work making (hell, I would rather pay for that....at least the fan-translated version CAN be natively played on Vita...).

Considering how well FFX HD did on Vita compared to the PS3 version (relative userbase size and all), I'm expecting at least a Type-0 "remaster" for Vita (but not this HD remake, which looks much improved visually on PS4/XB1).

That's easily 200k sales in Japan right there for what basically amounts to an up-rezzed PSP game.
