I hear now that UBW itself will be 2 cour and Heavens Feel will come sometime later. So basically two faithful adaptations of two out of the three routes (Fate's meh so I'm glad that they're skipping it).

Something something 1 hour plus something.

It'll could be Kara no Kyoukai styled, so a series of films (maybe three if they want to get the pacing right). ducky pls no bully :'(

Yeah InfiniteNine just mentioned that to me too. Good point. The wording matches too, because it says "Theatrical (format) Anime" instead of the more common term for "Theatrical Feature" which refers to a single film.

HF fights with a film budget, that's the important thing.

Well, with regards to budget, I dunno if we can really say that most of KnK (especially the latest KnK film) had more budget than Fate/Zero. It's just a release format after all. One thing that theatrical releases lets them do is to pace stuff different instead of having fixed runtimes, and also not worry about censorship on TV.

multiple movies if true could mean ufotable is on f/sn through possibly 2017 even!

Could be up to 2018 I think. It really depends on how they're planning this. If they're doing this like they did KnK and F/Z, then they'll want to have the same core visual team on both, which means they can't really make both at the same time.

2014-2015 = F/SN TV
2016-2018 = F/SN films

If it's getting the KnK treatment instead of one film, then yeah, you make a good point here. Oh well.

You just wanna see the uncensored stuff
It'll be based off the censored Realta Nua anyway. But with the way HF is paced, front-loaded a ton of slice of life stuff that can easily be trimmed, the film format might actually fit it well.

So they'll continue to be the Type Moon studio.
Nah, after this it's either Tsukihime adaptation or Hollow Ataraxia for sure!
The Tsukihime remake won't be done by 2018.

I'm hype for UBW! Heavens Feel, I'm cautiously optimistic for because it's a movie :<. Watching Prisma Illya has made me more excited for this, I think.

HF is more likely to be a film series like Kara no Kyoukai, so all the better! (I hope they cut the cooking)

Ufotable is probably the most financially stable animation studio of its size right now. They basically do everything Tales Of and Type Moon, and have contracts which should last the next 4-5 years. I'm happy for them, but.... well.... yeah. :(

That "rotoscope" tag you added is bringing back painful memories of the discussions about the 'VIVA NAMIDA' music video... not cool, man.

So, was Majocco Classical their way of blowing steam off tackling one original work just before engulfing themselves for years on adaptations of TYPE-MOON franchises? :-/

What, a online rpg "around fate"? What does that mean.
Any game concept that involves online rpg and fate sounds already sucky to me.

sorry not "around fate" but it's actually called "Fate Grand Order"

The fact that there are over 50 character art designer basically confirms that it's going too be some sort of F2P social card game.

that's for the new online RPG game they announced today called "around Fate" for iOS/Android.

it's not a visual novel

This isn't accurate. What they announced today was Fate/Grand Order for iOS/Android, which is an upcoming "RPG" (probably with cards) about 7 Holy Grails Wars throughout history.

The Fate link on the F/SN site is different, it's definitely for the VN: http://www.fate-sn.jp/

Realta Nua is already on iOS/Android, and they're doing a promotion where it will be free to play for a limited time starting this Fall in conjunction with the TV series starting. That's the actual VN.

My Tsukihime remake in 2020 doesn't sound crazy now.

This episode was done justice by the English voice cast. Thank you based NIS!

That one scene at the end with Ami and Minori is still confusing and as cryptic as it was in the original. Felt like that could've been handled/written better. It's my single negative point in the entire show (besides the ending). Still, excellent work NIS!!

The scene puzzled me on my watch but after finishing the show I felt it made sense.
Wasn't that just Ami teasing her ? I mean Kushieda saw Taiga pretty much announce her feelings for Kitamura and with that she might have felt her and Takasu getting together won't hurt Taiga. That's what I felt Ami was getting at with her sarcastic remark.(And she pretty much stopped the second picture, this time TaigaxRyuji, getting out.)

So how much all those Fate routes differ from each other ? I assume finishing watch of the current Fate/Stay Night (dropped at twelfth episode or so) would still spoil lots of things from UBW ?

Uguu :(
I don't know what I expected.

Illya's gonna need a partner ;)
Fate Remake with Illya as the protagonist and Taiga as Berzerker.

You mean a harem right?
Not exclusive. Taiga could be just partner on a professional level, while Illyas harem stays Illyas harem.

My Tsukihime remake in 2020 doesn't sound crazy now.
