I lost an entire summer to this game once and it may happen again. I've dove back in, I can't resist it. It starts out simple: pick a location for your pizza shop, decorate it, build some pizzas, buy some ingredients, advertise and then open your store.
Next thing you know your buying multiple stores, warehouses, getting into contracts with vendors, and expanding to multiple cities. You get a little dirty; it starts with bribing some officials for rewards.
Then it happens, you discover the "ice cream":
You say hey, that's not ice cream, those are rocket launchers. I can start blowing up my competitors shops. But it doesn't stop there, forget the pizza, you are going to become a global weapons dealer and brave getting caught with thousands in weapons on hand.
I made it to millions upon millions of dollars in my last run before I got tired. My Restraurant was number one and completely run by my managers. Totally self sufficient gold mine, but the real goal was to become filthy stinking rich selling weapons, it always is.
Anyone else get caught that deep in a metagame of a game? Anyone with Pizza Tycoon specifically?
