I finished Star-lord to 60 yesterday and gotta say, his element gun isn't bad at past level 40. I popped on some really nice arts (Black Toms/Danger AI/Taskmaster Handbook/Nimrod) with blessings and felt pretty OP damage-wise. His survivability is what is terrible now.

The abilities to actually load the ammo are a huge amount of dps. I maxed Air and Water and put 1 point in the Fire and Earth. Earth overall seems terrible, Fire is ok to heal up slowly with basics, so I just load their ammo for the decent burst (and knock up on earth) in between switching to Water or Air. When I get to water or air the ability use changes a bit depending on the situation.

If you're on Water, the first thing you should do is a charged blast, it explodes on hit doing good dmg 100-200k depending on charge (with no crit/brutal) then leaves an aoe of ice that slows, then use the rest of your ammo (2/3rds) on barrage because that deals 40% increased damage to slowed targets. When that runs out switch to air, it does about equal burst damage but jumps something like 14 targets when you first load it, then either barrage if you want single target, basic if there is some trash around to clean up, or charged shot if you can line up the bosses right (xdef/MM). Now you want to go back to Water to repeat, but on the way there load fire and earth ammo for the burst, then start from the top.

All I use outside of this is the sig and passives. Cryo grenade is probably worth 1 point but when you activate Water you freeze everyone in front of you so I don't feel like I need it.

I solo'd man ape last night on an absolutely fresh 60 Star-Lord with leveling uniques so, I don't think Element Gun is anywhere near as bad as people think it is.

what's ape man btw? i keep seeing people saying you can/should do it daily

The boss of the one shot terminal. I believe he drops 3 eye of demonfire once a day.

I don't have him yet, but I just did a level 60 x-def with 3 star lords (an iron man ran out on us) and they were really strong. Even when we were down a man, we made it to wave 24 rather comfortably.

oooh i see. is that hard? or can i solo it.

Depends a bit on the character. It's about as hard as cosmic terminal in terms of mob health and damage but if you die you are penalized because you need to run back. You need to defend NPCs so if they die before the timer is up you lose.

Characters with heavy lockdown, taunts, pets, decoys or high aoe damage do well. Single target damage is also really good for fighting actual man ape.

Or just party up with some GAF members.

Havent played MH for a few weeks. Two observations after playing today...

1. Starlords alt costume (red trenchcoat) looks really awesome.

2. I love that cube shards remain available in terminals instead of having that 20 hour cool down. I have a system where I gradually collect 100 shards and then buy 10 Fortune Cards and hope for a costume. I can do this much faster now :)

Pretty sure it's just a UI bug and you can't actually get them multiple times :(

Haha it's just a display bug bro

bad gameplay lol
Hm...is the eternity splinter drop rate connected to your level versus the recommended level of the stuff you're doing? I'm pretty overleveled for where I'm at in the story (just finished Chapter 8), and I just played three hours without a single ES drop.

There's a point (like 8 levels or something) when you stop getting splinters from enemies. Other than that no, splinter drops aren't really higher at higher levels.

You will not get any splinters if the enemies are gray-level.

in other words avoid story mode unless its your first time

Or you get it for LQs (tho I more often than not reroll those cause they're tedious), or you rush through it to get the benefits for completing quests e.g. the bonus to health/stamina or the additional skill points.

But yeah, story is not worth doing lol.

do you know if it's even worth doing it for these things? I don't see the big importance of a few points, unless someone is a hardcore min-max'er

I play this game very casually, so I never even bother with those quest rewards unless a LQ takes me to them

The plus sign. I'm on a work trip so I'm not playing anything right now.

Okay cool. I'm reading the Moon Knight comix from 2006 right now, and it's krazy. Half the time I don't know what's real or not, it's very confusing lol

Does he have imaginary characters in his head or something? (besides the Khonshu god)

Who says Khonshu is imaginary? .. Nah he is.
or is he?

Don't read the Moon Knight series from 2006.

Read the one Warren Ellis started writing this year.

What? No. 2006 is amazing.

2006 Moon Knight was great. What you don't want to read is the awful Bendis run

^This.

Good Moon Knight:

80s Moench/Sienkiewicz run
1999 Moench "High Strangers" mini
2006 Huston run
2014 Ellis run

Bad Moon Knight:

Mid 80s Fist of Khonshu/West Coast Avengers
Early 90s Terry Kavanagh run (Marc Spector: Moon Knight 35-60)
FUCKING SHADOWLAND
2011 Bendis run

Everything else (Resurrection War, Marvel Knights, Secret Avengers, the first half of Marc Spector: Moon Knight, etc) is middle-of-the-road/read it if you want kinda stuff.

The flight plan I just filed with the agency list me, my men, Dr. Pavel here. But only one of you!
I'm pretty pumped that I got the secret avengers MK costume out of the blender yesterday, now it really feels like I'm playing batman.

(ノ ゜Д゜)ノ ︵ ┻━┻

Hahaha I have no idea what emotion youa re trying to convey.

Anyway, the free guardian boost from the code is pretty rad. I got a 6 splinter drop followed by a 3 splinter drop. At about 550 splinters, 50 away from my last 600 splinter hero (ghost rider) who is supposed to be getting buffed in the coming weeks.

Now I'm using that Eternity Splinter buff from that GotG potion and just AFKing in the hub, popping in Midtown every 8 mins to get my splinters, while I marathon through Lost on my other monitor. Seems like a pretty awesome way to get everything that can be bought with ES for cheap. I think I'll be buying ES potions after this buff wears off.

Ohhhhhh, that's why I was getting ES multiples. Was wondering.

Eh Daredevil and Batman really aren't that alike once you get past the "I want to clean up the streets" idea.

They have similar personalities, have suffered similar losses, have similar ideas of "cleaning the streets", are both masters of martial arts trained by ancient masters.

Moon Knight is a guy with multiple personality disorder. He is fighting criminals because his god told him to, not because he wants to fight crime for personal reasons. He not only doesn't mind killing, he even goes out of his way to kill people. His fighting style is erratic and he is so self-destructive in it that even Taskmaster doesn't want to imitate him. He dresses in all white because he wants to be seen, and cause dread in the people who look upon him.

Batman is the Greatest Detective in the DC universe, he's a master tactician and one of the most skilled, if not THE most skilled martial artist in the DC universe. Moon Knight is a guy who hears voices in his head that tell him to beat up criminals, no matter the cost.

Beyond the cape and the use of gadgets, Batman and Moon Knight couldn't be any more different.

That's just it: the cape and gadgets were directly copied from DC. Moon Knight was created as Marvel's version of Batman. His look makes you do a double take.

Also, there are more similarities between Black Panther and Batman than there are with Daredevil. From a looks department, which is what casual fans notice prior to reading a book.

Hey everyone, I'm kind of a lapsed player who's been having loads of fun with the game recently.
Do we have a supergroup of sorts? I kind of want to try the "endgame" stuff but feel kind of lost.

yeah that's neat but they look similar and crescent moon darts look like batarangs.
