Yeah if MSFT is publishing, that means this is wrapped up folks (unless you go with the SIGMA idea). It also means that MSFT might be interesting in more then just this one title, like it was theorized by some to go up against UC.

Well, I don't have an X1, but now MS kind of forced me to buy one. Isn't this the point of exclusive games?
MS has every right to secure games for their console. I don't care how, why, or from whom they secure games.. All I care about as a gamer is the game itself.
I hope it works out well for square and crystal.

SE probably feels that Tomb Raider vs Uncharted 4 releasing at the same time on PS4 would be a sales slaughter in favor of UC4. Why not take money from MS for a timed exclusive, then try to pick up PS4 owners after they've already played through UC4? Win/win for SE.
People saying this was a bad deal for SE. Uncharted 4 is what was the bad deal for SE. They were going to get slaughtered in 2015 regardless of timed exclusivity. This way they get to save face and release on PS4 without competition in the same genre.

AAA development is extremely expensive. If third parties have to make these deals to ensure they don't lose millions on their games, can you honestly blame them for choosing this direction? If you want to play the game first, buy an Xbox One. If you don't, wait for it to come out on PS4 and PC. Microsoft did nothing the other companies aren't doing to make their systems attractive.

That really sucks for PS4 owners and I think it's bad business for MS (would rather see them put that money towards a new IP) however for everyone that has been dancing on MS grave every NPD this is what has come or this. MS has deep pockets and isn't content with second place... These deals will be made as long as they are suffering.
