Omega Boost Intro.
The mix of CGI, live action and the hype music blew my mind at the time. The mecha is fantastic, so sad it did´nt had a sequel.
This is from the XB1 version.
PC version, but don't forget, it is from a older build which was shown in E3, ComicCon & GamesCon.. now they have newer build & trzing to make the graphics even better & fixing things
them Blizzard games.... especially so for WAR3 Chaos Reign
This is amazing. Everything was so high-resolution and defined in my memory, from the textures to the actual video output, but this stuff has easily been eclipsed by real-time graphics even on consoles.Starcraft 1's cinematics are definitely starting to show their age.
I'll never forget the first time I saw a FF9 CGI.
Completely blew me away.

Completely blew me away.
This was one of the first games I ever saw/played, so naturally I asked a friend "Man, do you think we'll ever get a game that looks like this?" and we both went "probably not". And now it looks like shit. Lol.
This is from the XB1 version.
Nope, PC version.

Damn, why are Blizzard so good at animating?I'd say it still holds up.

Not as mindblowing as it used to be, far from bad looking.
I was so obsessed with a game called Lost Eden back in the day, both because of dinosaurs and I had grown a love for point and click adventure games on the PC at that time, but it basically enticed me into buying a PC with a CD drive.
I still think the game is great, and I love the soundtrack for just how unusual it is, but by GOD do the 3D dinosaurs look dodgy as fuck now.
Attract Mode
Don't forget X. I'm paying the HD remaster, and man, we have come a long way since those CG cutscenes.Final Fantasy 7, 8, and 9 CGI scenes
This one still holds up IMO
The animation on ReBoot improves quite a bit with each season. They employed some fairly novel and impressive techniques when they were just becoming available on a studio level IIRC. The 4th Season, which I rewatched sometime after 2010, holds up pretty well.

Total Annihilation's intro holds up pretty well considering it's from 1997
Just like Total Annihilation itself
