how do you export to usb?

i have an external fat32 portable drive
Once you render your movie in share factory you should find it in the gallery app. You transfer it there.

Got in to the Battlefield Hardline beta earlier this week, made a quick and dirty clip - http://www.youtube.com/watch?list=UU13rLM3U5OTLFHxTnhnZOSA&v=k54VSMbbsmk

And discovered it was included in the Official Battlefield blog on share factory http://blogs.battlefield.com/2014/06/powered-ps4-sharefactory-battlefield-hardline-beta-videos/

Chuffed to bits :D

Good job but I must say the clouds are very predictable and move back and forth in an "orbit" around the moon thingy. This is next gen were are my procedurally generated sky's?

Yeah, I didn't notice until I watched the video back. But it's really not noticeable at all in game, it really does feel like the sky is constantly shifting.

A little Gameplay of the Destiny Alpha made with Sharefactory. Please be nice. Was my first try with SF and I never do creative stuff. Unfortunatly PS4 didn't record my best moments( 15er Streak and almost triplekill plus 2) , so I had use to other stuff.

Hope you like it.

EDIT: Now it is 720 p ;)

I dont know why it is this shitty Qualtiy. I used my file from the PS4 to upload. Why isn't it 720p ?

YouTube takes a while to process the HD versions of a recent upload. If you view it ASAP, it'll be crapalicious... if you wait a bit, the good version(s) will be available.

It is 720. At least the option to go to 720p in the video is available and the quality to me looks 720.

some feedback would be nice :) Was my first try and want to do things better in the future :)

I hope we will play each other on July 17th.
A little more feedback for the future would be great.

The new footage looks awesome. Can't wait to play the game. It really gets addictive

Managed to cook this up in a little under an hour. It's all footage from the Destiny Beta. I'll probably end up redoing it to add even more clips, but I think it's pretty darn solid.

Liked the build up to action rather than just going right to the shoot bangs. Funny what a song can do, the game is shoot shoot shoot and yet your video with the song makes it seem more somber. Good work.

make sure the pudding isn't too soggy but that just ruins everything
Those are going to be amazing. This game will get me to use share factory for the first time.

I'm looking forward to frantic TLoU combat in these vids... I will probably makes some myself.

Thanks man. I really try to add some emotion to my edits. Although I still feel like I could have stuffed more clips in there along with more transitions. Feel like I spent too much time showing that group event. Not sure if I should have chopped it up or not.

And boy, I'm so glad the devs included those animations for space travel the way they did. It fit almost too perfectly. :)

Have we heard anything on whether games can add themes for Sharefactory? Or do they have to be app updates?

Suspect that it requires an app update at the moment unfortunately, but hopefully more devs are able to release themes for their games.

I was reminded of the John Motson hidden bonus track from FIFA 97 so I thought I'd try it with a montage of clips from FIFA 14..!

For me, I am unable to make videos that are longer than 5-6 minutes. Here's why:

- Import a 15 minutes clip, eg. from BF4.
- Edit it down to, say, 6 minutes.
- Try to import another 15 minutes clip. You can't, you just get an error message about the 20 minutes limit. So if you want to make heavily edited videos consisting of many sub-clips from a 15 minute clip, it's not possible. A 20 minute limit for the final video is fine, but limiting the source material before editing is bad usability.

The solution would be the enforce the length limit during rendering and not when editing. It appears that this program has been tested primarily with importing clips that doesn't require heavy editing, which limits its usefulness for my method of using it. I know other fellow gamers making videos have been caught by this limit too.
It has been suggested to trim the clip by pressing Share on it before importing it, but this is not necessarily possible if you want to extract multiple clips spread out over 15 minutes. It's a workaround for something that shouldn't need a workaround.

You can cut up raw footage and save them for import into your main project... that's what I do. I take a raw capture and cut that down into a # of interesting clips that are saved individually, and then available for import into a main project. A bit time consuming, but it makes it possible to create a long project.

Yes, I know about this. But if you need to create workarounds like this, the program is flawed to begin with and I might as well use some more capable program on my PC that makes the whole process easier. Sharefactory is supposed to be easy to use, and this is a torn in its side in that respect.

I have a issue, if anyone can help:

So I was using ShareFactory for the first time, and I know there is a 20min minimum, so I had added and split clips upto just over 5mins. Here's the problem: When I tried to add a 15 mins recording to choose best moments from, it wouldn't let me because I had gone over the 20 mins maximum.

Do I lose the selection of 5mins that I wanted to use and start editing from the longer 15min vids, or is there a way to solve this issue?

I fear that I will encounter this problem again because I have tons of 15 mins saved but I won't be able to add and edit them. Help please.

Just render the 5 minute video on Sharefactory, then edit a new 15 minute selection in a different project on it's own.

When you're ready to put them all together, just select all your rendered videos and put them together in one timeline.
