I never really manage to level alts. I'd usually rather go solo old instances or farm stuff than level, so there is that.

Mained a priest and then a mage for a while in vanilla and BC, DK in LK, and haven't really played seriously since then. Running a druid right now, and really enjoying it, so I'll probably stick with that. Resto healing is a lot of fun, I feel like. Feral/guardian are also entertaining, balance a bit less so... Priest is also at 90, but just wasn't really feeling that class. Disc healing is fun, but looks like it may get over-nerfed, mainly I think I just don't like shadow very much, so doing stuff solo is not entertaining. Contemplating getting one of the two 70 mages I have up to cap as well.

First time, long time.

Horde guild Minus Fifteen on Senjin. Main tank but tired of being a bear, wont level a warrior, other tanks are DK's and my monk was a disaster.
So I'm left with pally which is fine aside from the low DPS...except that Horde race selection is poor. On top of it all, my pally has a cloak which dissuades me from the other classes. What to do...I've already been a tauren since BC, is that the way to go again?
(It takes me forever to think of what to play on a patch by patch basis)

Draenei Warrior, Belf paladin for me. Just looted my BoA 2 hander (only flex though), so it fits nicely with my plans. Hunter looks pretty appetizing this expansion as well.

So I started to multibox last month and got my team up to 90 with a lot of timeless gear. I want to hit 496 item level so I can get in SoO raids. I just want to make sure I am doing it right.

Using my JP to purchase 489 gear and my valor to upgrade the levels and farming gulp frogs for Timeless isle coins so I can unlock chest for 496 gear.

Mage first. Second will be either Blood DK or Disc Priest depending on what my friend needs for his raid. After those two I'll probably try getting into my Moonkin again. Each expansion though I have a toon at a lower level that I end up playing a ton. In Cata it was a Shaman (made a Goblin one around 4.2) and it MoP it was my Priest (was around 45ish when MoP came out).

Something, somwehere has managed to turn off the mob names in my game. I am talking about the default simple red/yellow names above mobs heads, not the nameplate that you can toggle on/off. I have disabled all my addons and messed around with the names interface, even reset everything to default and I cant get anything above their heads.

Annoying to say the least in timeless isle. Anyone?

Interface > Names

If that doesn't work for you you might need to run a repair or trash your cache/WTF folders

wow....three nights in a row I have lost BG rating due to this. Went from almost getting 2200 to being at 2026 now. I think I am going to stop doing Rated battleground until this stops happening for a few days. Not just using the lags as an excuse for our loss. We were literally winning in every one of those fights. It just takes one of you people to DC such as a healer and you are going to get wrecked. Or a base watcher.


Shit is infuriating.

I mained a Priest throughout the tail end of Cata up until well through Mists, and I quit him for my Hunter for the same reason. Shadow is extremely boring to me, so soloing anything was a huge chore, and the squishiness of the class only compounded the issue. I have a Paladin now, and while I do really miss the versatility of Holy Priest, Holy Pally is more enjoyable to me because I can solo things without being brain dead bored. The Holy Power mechanic and the seals are also a little more hands on than the chakra Priests have.

It really depends on the fight / amount of AOE. Really no such thing as a standard baseline for DPS. Depends on the group also.

I was thinking of starting a new character for WoD so I have to ask. If I'm reading this correctly, I could ignore professions completely while leveling and instantly start crafting WoD items once I reach Draenor and my garrison?

One idea that came up was to make both Northrend and Outland a level 60 to 80 zones at half of their current speed and then allowing players to pick one to level through. Making this change would be fairly time consuming, so it is just an idea for now.

I did this a couple of nights ago. Took me 3 and a half hours. Hardest thing i've ever done in game.

Jugling the puppies is the worst. I found an easier way through it by using Sac pact and unbound will and just eating the damage for 20 second

Thanks! Yup it's a vision of the future Garrosh has of him destroying Stormwind. He 'pulls' you into the vision when you get his HP down for the 3rd time. Then you have a few new mechanics to manage, including kiting an Iron Star into Garrosh. It's weird, but it works.

It's what Garrosh sees as his perfect world and his destiny. His horde has taken over, and you see Stormwind just annihilated, with all the leaders on spikes.

An iron horde Zeppelin is also shooting at you throughout the fights, with an ironstar mechanic and etc.

With an idea like this, doing 60 to 80 in Northrend only at half the current speed, you'll run out of quests before you even get close to 80. Which would still force you to go into Outlands.

Unless you farm dungeons.
