look at it this way: the ps4 has a lot more momentum in the west than japan anyway, so why wouldn't they also release it there? :D

Money? Who knows.

I'm just not going to rest assured till we actually get a confirmation because stupid shit has happened before.

The only JRPG pulling something like that off is Pokemon.

Only took Pokemon 17 years before managing a simultaneous worldwide release. Same amount of time since the original Persona too, so hell, why not?
It won't be lol, Atlus & Sega

PS4 announcement! New protagonist design is great. Made an otherwise boring conference worthwhile. Hope the localization doesn't take too long.

New MC looks great. Shibuya is a great setting. PS3/4 is a great move.

Atlus rolled into this thing being all "we're the only smart company in this whole country"

??? The MC looks like the most generic anime dude I've ever seen.

I have total confidence in the UI guys as Persona 4 Golden has, to me, the best looking UI out there. The logo doesn't seem too great, but I'm sure it'll grow on me and that the look of the game itself will be amazing. The character design is cool.

I loved the rural town vibe of P4G, but I don't mind alternating.

Incredibly hyped right now. CAN'T WAIT.

it's really likely i'm way overthinking this but carl sagan protag+font treatment of logo is making me wonder if this is a late 70s period piece

If that's the main character, that's actually pretty interesting. I can't remember the last time a JRPG protag was the intellectual type. Bit on the scrawny side though. :/

I hope we get some gameplay footage at the show.

Awesome news. I was so pumped when he said a game that was announced for PS3 was also coming to PS4 at the same time and then the Atlus logo came on the screen.

P5 was going to literally be the last game I bought new for my PS3 (still will have it hooked up for PS+ titles), so I'm glad I don't have to worry about my PS3 breaking or something -- and then feeling like I need it for just one game -- which was my fear. Also, if I can Vita remote play this as well that would be a great PS4 bonus.
