I wouldn't mind if Dark Pit had different moves from Pit, but from the match we saw he's just like Pit. Atleast Lucas and Wolf played differently.

Yeah, but it's been clear from the start that he was, most likely, a former alt costume turned playable character like Lucina.

It gives us a new character without the effort that someone like Wolf or Lucas would require I feel safe saying that Dark Pit would not be in if this wasn't the case.

Dark Pit can't win.

Well he's an awful inclusion, so it's normal to think he'll have an uphill battle.

Pretty shitty to lose almost an entirely unique character like Wolf just to literally get Black Pit as a separate character. His personality from KI:U means almost nothing in this game.
