Its been brutal. Technically it wasn't really for the Xbox. But the announcers don't know what the device is called. Apple has been getting more out of the deal so far than MS.

Also Vita . Spend more time with it still than any other platform. Little guy was too good for his world. Poor fella.

Madden, like call of duty, is a traditionally xbox franchise. They even have exclusive marketing deals with EA to promote madden as and xbox franchise, so if its still getting outsold by the ps4 version, the bone is in big trouble.

~600K-700K more I think? But still, didn't Microsoft have the exclusive marketing deal for Madden? Plus traditionally Madden has sold better on 360 (which people might have assumed would carry over to the new systems as well), so that's why people are surprised.

What we need to find out is if Madden PS4 > Xbone Madden bundle + stand-alone. That would be very telling.

Remember Madden 25 (25th anniversary madden so actually Madden '14 ) came out last year and many people already decided where they were going to play Madden.

360 had an overwhelming edge in Madden sales because the hardware sold much better than the PS3. With the two consoles close in hardware sales this generation it is going to lead to closer software sales.

Our near decade 360 NeoGAF league moved to PS4 last year and bought Madden 15 on PS4 this year. So that is 32 people who bought Madden on 360 last gen who are now buying Madden on PS4 this gen. I'm guessing sales between the XB1 and PS4 versions are close but there is a networking effect at play where XBox isn't going to dominate software sales like in the past.
