Lightning actually created the world of versus :/
I know its hard to swallow but its true.Even if its never mentioned in XV.
Hmm.. what?

I don't like the news that they changed Noctis' personality.. It screams that they are pandering to the FF hate bandwagon of "Cloud is emo", if they are messing with the creative vision because of bullshit like this.. This coupled alongside Nomura being "forced out"(speculation obviously) of the project, seems like his concepts are being compromised...
LR's ending.
"- Prompto is Selphie (sorry, my interpretation), Noctis is not the reserved lonewolf guy he was before."
Hmm.. no that's not the world of versus for sure because
Woo Vita getting a role in this is good for me.
- The plot is simple, the party must retrieve a stolen crystal from an enemy country.
Wtf? Why are you guys giving spoilers for LR in this thread?

Don't worry, that wasn't entirely accurate Keyword being entirely.
This has been known since at least 2011.Best news!

- Block button, auto-attack and warp button.
The combat system's modifications have been applied correctly, and the development team feels the game much more like a "Final Fantasy" since it became a main title
Thanks dude . No wonder Nomura left, god damn. It really seems like Luna is Stella lol. Surprise is a summon no doubt. Here's a translation of everything he said
Thanks for this. Here's a translation of everything he said
Lightning confirmed?
Is the demo coming to both platforms?
- No comment on Luna, key character as important as Noctis.
This new translation puts me more at ease. At first it read like they changed the character's personality for whatever reason and now it reads like the character itself will suffer this development in universe and it was always planned to be that way.
But the auto stuff is real. Not a fan of that.
what does it matter ?
Holding down a button vs mashing repeatedly like in KH ?

I like the sound of secret zones on the overworld.

It's the sense of control, holding it down feels like character doing everything for you.

So damn, from the looks of it, much of Final Fantasy Versus 13 was changed just because it's now a main FF title. A part of me is hyped because the trailer looks awesome, but a part of me is disappointed that it won't be the game that was shown to us back then aka "fantasy based on reality."
Noctis not being the "lonely wolf that he used to be" and the Tabula Rasa comment of Tabata about Luna (if I understood it right) seems to imply that even the original plot has been changed. I just hope the plot wasn't simplified to "stealing back the crystal" just so that they could rush this game (although I always thought the plot was about that, but it also included some political intrigue between kingdoms).
Interesting that this is a selling point. I know XIII was criticized for its convoluted plot, but I think the bigger issue was weak dialogue and one-dimensional characters. I'm keeping my expectations for XV's story low until Square hires better in-house writers.

You can still have a sense of control.
If the game forces you to constantly switch up your commands you essentially end up with a very responsive system.
You won't be able to attack endlessly in the game and movement will likely play a large element.
But auto-dogde sound bad like really bad because good dogining system is based on timing.
Imagine playing games like Devil May Cry, KH3 or even Tales where attacking is just holding a button. It's not fun.
On the paper, yes. But I play Diablo III. Holding down the button (for instance, channelling spell) is usually a death wish and not recommended in high difficulty.
Can't agree, this TGS in regards to FFXV ain't shit since we still don't have any kind of release date. This TGS has made me happier than any previous one. If we got some KH3 info too, then I might just die.
