I actually think it's the beast with the machine gun.
Damn didn't realize the damage decrease from being just 2 levels below..was dying constantly as 26 Hunter soloing Nightfall after my 29 Warlock did it so easily but wasn't taking note of the damage..3800 crits on Hunter, just did on 28 Titan and 7k+...no wonder I couldn't do it..

This isn't meant to sound like a date, but are we still doing the Nightfall tonight? I have to plan for it (read: tell the gf that I'll be busy for a few hours, don't bother me).
I had some PSN issues last night and wasn't able to get on. I know others were as well and Sony is aware of it. Hopefully, that has been remedied today. I'll check it out when I leave the office for lunch.
Today's haul from normal raids and Nightfall Strikes:
Hunter - Ascendant Shards & Energy, Corrective Measure (raid void machine gun), another Chatterwhite shader, my 3rd Vision of Confluence scout rifle, and some New Monarchy scout rifle from Nightfall.
Titan - 2nd Suros Regime from Nightfall
Warlock - Ascendant Shards & Energy, Gloves & Cuirass of the Hezen Lords (raid armor), Atheon's Epilogue auto rifle, and Glass Minuet (legendary raid ship).
One guy in our raid party got the Warlock raid gauntlets, chest, and boots from one normal raid run.

Congrats, but I still think this is pretty horrible. 3rd Solar Scout Rifle? 2nd Suros Regime? Trade needs to be in badly.
I love the Heart of Praxic Fire on my alternate Sunsinger. I am still rocking green or blues everywhere else though since I just got this character to 20 on Sunday.
Nice! I tried gambling for a skull of ahamkara and got the dumb looking one with feathers instead. At least it was for the right class.

I'll try to be on at 5:30PM CST to get this ball rolling although I'm a little worried about Valus Ta'aurc on nightfall... hopefully someone will drop some strats this afternoon. I think it is doable just have to be very patient and hide from his rockets. And bubbles... bubbles everywhere!
EDIT: Looks like its arc damage this week? I'll break out my arc fusion and MG.
Negative. It's the big Duke 3D-ish boss who leads the Cabal.
Wish it was the Archon though. Love that fight.

I remember falling in there once but I didn't try to beat it like that. Do all the enemies group around it or is it pretty easy just to pop out and blast the boss?
There's probably a lot better..but 23 min solo.

A lot of screwing around before the boss..heard there were boxes to hide behind so ran around for like 2mins looking..Could easily cut it down to 15-16mins.

Anyway, I will be on around the same time. Do we have a third person locked up?
Also, I saw a cheese video on Valus yesterday. I'll try to find and post it again. There is a little area by the stairwell in the final room (I want to say back-right corner when you walk in) that let's you rock him and he can't get you.
Any tips for that one?

Nice, its awesome. Got it from a legendary engram a few weeks ago. Should be very useful this week with the arc burn modifier on nightfall.
Yeah I think skamawall but he's in Germany so I don't blame him if he doesnt wait up for us

Whats your equip set up for solo'ing the Weekly stuff? Right now I'm 27, and I have no chances do it anything with friends because they were lucky enough not to get sucked into Destiny and are all still 20-21.
Also I refuse to play Destiny until the fucking engram patch is up so I can take a shit on Rahool.

Got one of those from RNG with a Rare Engram (IIRC)... It's my only above Rare weapon. I love it. Tears through just about everything with a vengeance.

Nope. The Tank is easy if you make it fall behind a wall then poke out with the vehicle (every other shot is a left shot so waste the right shot each time).As for the boss... He has so much health, you have to kill all of the enemies for Ammo. I dunno for Nightfall, may be easier, but I need an Arc Sniper before I will attempt it, or Arc Rocket Launcher.
I just made it with a Hand Cannon, possibly the only weapon I really used.
Shattered Memory Fragment. One of the steps is dismantling 10 rare or higher fusions.
You must dismantle 10 rare or better fusion rifles for Shattered Memory Fragment.

I want that gun so badly. I love fusion rifles to death in this game and Plan C has been on my radar for a while. Also, this game keeps throwing exotic bounties at me and taking up slots!

The only powerful arc gun I have is an exotic called Thunderlord, an arc machine gun. I hope it'll work.

In 3 hours. I feel your pain. I missed it two nights ago.
I've barely found any arc weapons in my time with the game. They seem really rare.

FWIW last week's patch hit during lunchtime for me, so around 10am PDT
I don't use it. I have the thing where more damage is done when hip firing, but most enemies die in 1-2 shots unless they are bosses. Sepkis Prime, Devil Walker, only bosses like that are worth hipfiring with, so the damage boost with the other mods are more worthwhile, especially the one that makes enemies flinch even if you don't shoot them in the head.
