So I just picked the game up a day ago and have been playing it since last night.

Is this it? This is what people were insanely hyped for? The lack of content is as clear as day. I dunno what happened but it's clear something went down during development. Also the story is laughable. I'm fine with games having none-existent stories, but advertising the game as being this "legendary adventure" is hilarious.

To be fair it's not a horrible game, but I feel completely ripped off paying $60 for it. Just my two cents

As a backup since it's an exotic, I guess.

I carry multiple exotics so I have backup legendaries for all my weapon slots.

I have a serious question about the last story level of Destiny...
So this was bothering me last night at around 1am...

Your character is transported to a dimension outside time and space to kill murder robots and the Heart of Darkness...
1) How did the Speaker for the Traveler know instantaneously you killed the Heart of Darkness...a thing the Dinklage literally discovered like 5 minutes earlier...
2) Why were you so easy to reach when you were OUTSIDE TIME AND SPACE?

I can't help with all of this but when you kill the heart the effect it was causing to lock you out of time and space was cancelled out. When it dies the entire Garden is dropped back into reality on Mars.... I think

I've got a rant. I don't get why enemies you out-level get a damage boost. I mean it is counter-productive to leveling and getting better gear and upping your defensive stat if a level 4 Vandal on Earth is also getting a damage boost and doing just as much damage to you. If I'm level 20+ and my defense is 10 times higher than what it was, a level 4 enemy shouldn't even be able to nick my shield.

If all those Purples are going to be Legendary items or resources now, it makes a great deal of sense that since the rate of legendary conversion will be up by x10 that they'll drop way less.

Nope.

I bought it right before the Suros showed up last weekend. I've used it here and there, but I decided I don't really care for it. Was wishing I grabbed a pulse rifle instead.

After you kill the heart of darkness you find out it is actually on mars. (time space bubble?) And the speaker probably knows because the traveler told him. The traveler gets all shiny after the heart dies.

Is the update today or was that speculation?

Yup. It also gives you more max defense and has better, more general talents.

I'm not sure we know, but they did state rewards in the Tiger Strike playlist will be better, and I think the nightfall and weeklies too. So even if the drop rate is lowered (unconfirmed), there are ways to get the purps.

Shattered Memory Fragment. One of the steps is dismantling 10 rare or higher fusions.

For such a great weapon, the bounty is a farily easy to complete, if you have the rare fusion rifles. The fusion rifles is easily the worse part.

NOTE: Save at least one fusion rifle with the element that corresponds to the nightfall weekly burn, last step is to kill 200 enemies with a fusion rifle in nightfall, very easy if you have the corresponding element.

Based on last night pretty damn common. Every other kill was from a SOUROS, PLAN-C, ICE BREAKER or some other named exotic.

It's become battle of the best weapon. You can get the drop on a lot of people in PVP but if their gun is better than yours then you'll inevitably die most of the time.

I really need to start to pick up some of these exotics that everyone else seems to be getting, but after 70 hours I've still only got one (universal Remote).
