May I ask is there that much difference between streaming and downloading in terms of quality?

When I stream I seem to get a slightly washed out colour palette and some white edges around objects?

Certainly not a GOOD sign, as it's not often that Sony does release-date review embargoes. But it doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad sign, either.

I can't believe where the graphics go far away in racing games. And it is only a 10 months in console life cycle!

Did they remove the re-st timer when corners were cut. Videos posted last week had a re-set timer every time the car went off on corners.

These videos look super crisp. The artist who worked on Norway track deserves 10 gold rings .. one for each finger. The best snow ever seen on any game.

The warning/reset timers are for various types of races. Some are stricter than others in terms of what leeway you have as to corners.

You have to have four wheels off track for the timer. I don't know why people are so obsessed with it, stay on the road.

Ok I'm taking my words back, just played the videos on my PS4, and it looks awesome on my TV, Iq is great, yea maybe not as good as that downsample video but still easily one of the best looking games on Nextgen.

I've watched them all. Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder, but I would suggest starting with these three.

Norway with beautiful snow and some of the best lighting you will see.

Are these real world locations they are using for the courses? Would love to see real life comparisons of these areas.

Stupid work, gotta wait to see these in their highest quality. I can sometimes see GIFs, sometimes not. So far the GIF's are not working for me.

Maybe it's the bitrate. Another guy had a issue with them and Blim responded with this.

You can try using an extension to download our streaming version (or look in the html code of the stream page, just searching for mp4 should do)

Thanks! Will check them out in that order when I can. Or should I go in reverse order so it progressively gets better? Argh. Can't believe I'm gonna be so late to watching this. Fml!

VLC was never that decent to play these videos given the really high bit-rate, I always use Media Player Classic, works so much better so I recommend that to people who think their hardware should be able to play it but currently isn't.

How did you play the gamersyde videos from your PS4? I really want to know, as I would love to do this.

I'm at work now and I can't download the videos, but I watched the streaming in HD and I didn't like what I saw :(

I'll wait till I get home to download it before saying anything else.

And why would I want them?
When is the official OT going up for this game? I've come to rely on gaf OTs way too much regarding info about games. Like what's included in the free ps+ version, how many cars are in the game, how many tracks, modes, etc. I'm too lay to research this shit on my own lol.

It's a good looking game, but the small gifs are making it look better than it looks in the full sized downloads.

It may just not be a sign of course as you implied!

The thing is: with the delay, and the fact it is a Plus game it can't afford to be bad can it? People can try before they buy, it needs to be good or it will sell awfully.
