I think i.minus is having some problems for certain users, myself included.

This works, right? I hope abload has the same quality as minus.

It looks good, I was expecting more but then again this is high and not ultra, I'm curious as to how it looks maxed.

The desert screenshots looks quite spectacular.
Can you ask permission to share the Necromancer and/or Rift specialization skills?

Also, how good is the load streaming when you move? Does tree and stuff pop up too sudden when you run, or is all smooth?

Extra: Shame my qunari won't be able to use those helms. Hope they improve their hair options at least.

I didn't know the game was that demanding. I guess I'm getting the PS4 version then.

That desert pic looks amazing. The one with that giant up on the hill. Seriously wtf is that giant?

Smooth. Keep in mind I have an SSD though.

Damn you, why is it so hard to not preorder this when I can buy it on they one? It's not like I'll be able to play any sooner... Either way, I'm sooo close to pulling the trigger :(

Wonder if my aging 560Ti can handle that resolution on high...still not sure if I go PS4 or PC for that reason...

Nice screenshots.

Your 560ti will llikely do better than a PS4. OPn BF4 with an i5 it does over 50 FPS on high.

So you will have the option of 60 FPS with a mix of medium and high. Where as on PS4 you're stuck with 30 FPS and a similar mixture of medium and high, except that you won't have any say on what that mixture is.

Great as in what? Dips from what? 30fps? 120fps? Some of us do have a very different idea of what 'runs great' means. :p

Most of the time 60. Pretty sure of that. It's just in cities with lots of NPCs where I can feel it going down to like 45-50 or so. In some areas, it drops when there's a lot of stuff happening on screen (spell effects, water, rain, terrain etc) but it's not that bad.

Sounds good, thanks.

Aliasing looks quite minimal for 1080p as well.

Performance is great for me. Some dips here and there in areas with lots of NPCs, but that's expected. My rig is good, but the VRAM is a little low :p

I have the exact same specs as you but my 770 is 4gb, hopefully that clears up the dips. Looking forward to playing this.

I'm gonna be the one to disagree with the comments on the visuals. Really disappointing, even if it's not maxed.

I wasn't expecting a graphical showcase but those are some low res textures and really sharp (not good sharp, pointy sharp) environments and low poly dragons :/

And yeah that blurriness.

Being a big MMO player, it doesn't look much better than an MMO on medium settings from what I'm seeing. I'd hope the quality at max would fix most of this.

Thanks for the response. I assume you haven't tried the MP portion to see how performance is there.

In any case, have you found any show-stopper or annoying bug? Or does it looks like a relatively clean release?

A few bugs. One of them is persisting, but it doesn't bother me that much. The dialogue wheel sometimes loses its mouse pointer. When the pointer disappears, you can't select a choice with the mouse. On PC though, every conversation answer has a number so you can use your keyboard if the bug happens.

It's a very sterile looking game to me and the UI is not helping either; it looks way too modern compared to the actual game.

NeoGAF's smiling token!
Please tell me those tree leaves get better on Ultra and that Qunari looks mishapen.

Otherwise looks great.

You should crank the settings and downsample just to show us what the game looks like on better hardware (or if you accept lower framerates)

Metroidvania

People called Romanes they go the house?
So is that a second Skyhold in the desert pic, or just a fort the Inquisition can take for its own in the region as a camp?
