I get about 296k for Oct but it says 70%+ so that's the baseline I guess.

9th place for SO is pretty good considering Drive Club and Bayonetta 2 are probably not even top ten.

I think Microsoft will sell more units in November since the bundles and black friday deals are pretty crazy for a system hitting one year on the market. I'm not sure how much it will help close the gap though. PS4 was 300K over in September... I wonder what the spread was for October.
COD AW player numbers seem to indicate the third party sales are still in Sony's favor for the moment, but again, bundles could tip the scales on that for November.

I don't think most people really expected Bayonetta 2 to chart.
Sounds like they all did pretty bad.
On Amazon.com, it was quite low at debut (around 50th IIRC), and then it literally collapsed in the first seven days, out of top 100 very quickly. And then out of top 200, 300, 400...

I mean they let reviews of that game fly out nearly 2 weeks before release, that hardly ever happens anymore! It's the highest rated console game of this year (or at least it was the last time I checked)...it deserves to sell damnit!

When you consider most people were probably banking on the PS+ version, it's not too surprising. No digital is counted either. I expect retail to be the smallest portion of the Driveclub pie.

I think it will. It's the established console for multiplats. Xbox One only has a chance on the backs of the MCC bundle, which is a great deal. But will it be enough?

Same. I got both TEW and Alien but really felt that Alien was by a long shot the better game. I kind of liked TEW for the first few levels but then it descended into a trap fest and by the final chapter my drive to finish it was gone. Kinda wish Alien was occupying that spot instead since I'd really love a sequel.

Horrendous debut (and launch of course) for DC. After a year delay it vanished without trace. But Sony are completely to blame for messing it up and it probably had zero marketing in the States.
Last time it was done we got hilariously wrong numbers. A small shift can make a huge difference and we have no idea what the ratio is.
