Didn't watch the whole thing because I wasn't home, tuned in right before The Order started, but I watched the Uncharted gameplay by now.
Uncharted looks sick. More open, more dynamic, all the animations really pay of, and better than pretty much any game I've seen.
I really wonder if that was 60FPS though, because if it was... damn.
The Order looked pretty standard from a gameplay perspective. Standard cover shooting.
Amazing weapons and an amazing story and interesting environments need to make this game worthwhile because I think the gameplay will only be standard.
The melee combat looked very cool though. If thats playable like that it would add a bit diversity. Hope there is more stuff like that. Maybe some puzzles based on the soft body physics.
After that there was a lot of love for smaller games, which is nice but it not stuff that gets everybody excited like Uncharted or Bloodborne. Thats more catering to specific groups of fans.
Streetfigher would've been a huge surprise, but well...
I thought David Jaffes game at the end looked incredible. Great art and looks like it could be good fun.
Still, when I look at all the Sony 1st party studios I kinda wonder what they are all doing. There are quite some unannounced projects and I kinda want to see them.
Overall very good for a "not E3 conference".
