Mugshot.
..I clearly don't know how to post pictures correctly.
Do people really not know Chris-chan?
You know, Chris-chan freaking out over Sonic having blue arms is nothing for Sonic fans.
I remember a few years ago when the first Sonic 4 trailer came out, a fan made a reaction video and went on a long rant (in tears) about how Sonic's eyes were green. For some reason, Sonic fans are really protective of how he looks. It's freaky.

I don't think it's ended. I doubt he'll end up in prison, and if he does, it won't be for long. Only things that can end this saga are long term imprisonment, death, or him successfully turning his life around.
There were some meltdowns on GAF regarding Sonic's eyes from people whose names I'll not mention because they're not as bad now.
Sonic fans are so weird.
Agreed.Look...I didn't really know who this person was, and I can't deny it sounds like a pretty sad story on some levels, but I wish mods would just stop threads like this, and people who go around getting a good laugh out of his exploits would shut the hell up.
For a site that seems to have so many threads regarding the importance of equality regarding different types of people, and has even helped me become more accepting when it comes to gay, bi, lesbian, trans, whatever...to make fun of an individual like this doesn't seem right to me either.
he's obviously got mental problems, why is that not a good reason to not make fun of someone? Let's just close it, and end the discussion, because these type of threads devolve in things that disgust me as much as some youtube comments.

Chris-Chan's life is probably more well-documented than most well known figures in history.
I've never really understood what it was about Sonic that made him worth obsessing over. It's definitely not the quality of the games. In fact, most Sonic fans don't really seem to care about the games at all. Just the character.
Will never happen. The guy is almost 33. He's not going to change.
I really do feel sorry for his parents.
It is yes.
He previously hit someone with a car twice while trying to get unbanned from a hobby shop and when the police arrived his mom assaulted a officer while they attempted to flee.Wait, Chris-chan did this? From all I've read about him, it never seemed like he would harm anyone else. It was much more common for him to harm himself (or, rather, his image) because he doesn't know what he should or shouldn't talk about.
I didn't even think of him as a "Sonic fan" at this point. I've never seen him going on about Sonic at all. It just seemed like he used Sonic-inspired characters as a medium for his own "imaginary friend" type world.
A lot of mentally unstable gravitate towards Sonic and his friends.
from wiki said:29 December - Chris's initial hearing takes place. The case is continued, to be heard again on February 5, 2015. He later makes bail and posts his own account of what happened on Facebook.
28 December - Chris was confirmed to be held in Albemarle Regional Jail.
26 December - Chris goes to Fashion Square Shopping Mall, and visited GameStop where he vandalized a Sonic Boom display and pepper-sprayed an employee on the way out. The police were called at some point after this, and Chris caused unspecified trouble at Sears and JCPenney before attempting to carjack a man in the parking lot, and subsequently fleeing.

What the fuck. How recent was that? It's depressing to think that he might be becoming violent because of how people on the Internet treat him.

There's something called "The Sonic Game" where you put your name into Google Image Search and add "the hedgehog" and post the worst pictures you find. It works for nearly any name.
Go ahead. Try it. He's not alone. Look for "Steve the Hedgehog" or "Michael the Hedgehog"
