I don't know what to call those enemies from amnesia, but I got run downed by one and died. Then the "Don't run..." message came up which I will do the next time I encounter one who just walks back and forth. Usually I wait till they're gone, but sometimes they stick around till I do something.

steam is such a tease. i've been trying to watch so many broadcasts but maybe only 5% did actually work -_-
why put the "watch stream" button when it won't work anyway valve?

so late here. opened up a stream of a friend of gang beats. it's idling in the menu. he clearly is prepping for a silvester party playsession ´with his friends, hah. contemplating staying awake even longer even though i will have headaches all day tomorrow >_>

I think it'll be better once it's out of beta, and everyone has access to it in the main client.

Is the Divinity Anthology worthwhile or should I just skip straight to the new one?

Keep in mind my RPG backlog is epic, I still need to beat M&MLX, Wasteland 2, and Xulima among others. Perhaps I'm answering my own question, and should skip, but dang it, the first two are like 1.20 each.

yea, very likely. i wonder how we can give input though? i don't see any button for suggestions etc.
for example, being able to dock the chatbox would be great.

Well I thought the sale was pretty good.

The pre-sale auction (seems like ages ago) was a neat idea. Helped move all the worthless $0.03 items in the market that would otherwise languish there forever. I suppose I might have a different perspective because I got in on the action early and bought hundreds of those CSGO backgrounds for cheap. Ended up getting about half a dozen games from the auction for free and a bonus15 dollars in my Steam wallet. I imagine it would have been less interesting for average folks who got a few hundred gems from their inventory and saw auction bids going into the tens of thousands. At the very least the auction was better than the team based nonsense from the summer sale.

Moving on to the main sale, there were more than a few pretty good deals. I guess we're all spoiled by crazy discounts but something going 50% off after two months of release is actually quite decent if you think about it. That said, I didn't actually buy much for myself for a variety of reasons (no Russians, bundle proliferation, backlog). Instead I ended up buying gifts for quite a few friends. In turn, a lot of friends gifted me stuff from my wishlist which was really kind of them. As you can imagine, it's much nicer to give and get gifts than just buying stuff for yourself.

I liked that community voting was once a day instead of thrice. Those 8 hour windows from past sales were not exactly stressful but keeping up was a chore. My only complaint with the sale would be that Steam has grown massively over the last year or so. Ten daily deals and a handful of flash/community sales just isn't enough anymore. They should expand it to maybe 25 dailies and 10 flash deals or something and rotate in a lot more new stuff.

From pics, the overworld looks a lot cleaner but the sprites are a bit odd since the SNES version is still vividly in my memories. Wouldn't mind giving it a try if it was on Steam, though.

I didn't really like the first one, I haven't played the rest. I certainly haven't seen anything in OS yet that would require knowledge of the previous games.

I did and played through it earlier this year. It was... okay. The graphics lost a bit of their pixelated charm in the translation.

It's a great game, it's a shame the iOS port isn't a bit better though.

Not through Steam. Some sites like GMG give separate keys for each, so it would be possible there. If you buy the GotY on steam the "extra" copy of the base game will be lost.
