They just legalized same sex marriage it can only go up from there. Florida does seem terrible though if the news is any inclination

Northwest Florida specifically. The pickings are very slim, there's a ridiculous amount of closet cases among that group, and it's next to impossible to get any of them to commit to something as simple as meeting for the first time for a date.

I partake in the rare moment of casual sex, but I tread that ground extremely carefully. Let's just say, I get to see the STD statistics in the local area every other month, and it's not pretty.

I honestly don't pay attention to who does what when it comes to those posts. Back when we had the Hot Men thread I knew who always posted different body types, at least, but these days... no idea.

I feel like your posts are always very eloquent and informative. I read your post in Amir0x's thread of institutionalized racism, where you write about it from a historical perspective. It was very well written! I admire Gaffers who excel in writing because as you can see, I'm terrible at it! Though I figured I could always learn something new and use it as an inspiration to improve myself. You should post more! :) Especially when interesting discussions come up.

Oh, it's not about posting. If I don't post, it's because I don't think it's worth bothering. It's about speaking. I have always felt more comfortable expressing myself in writing because I feel like I've at least had the opportunity to put my best foot forward. I sometimes think that might be my problem - I spend too much time thinking about what I should say and how exactly I should say it that I end up not saying anything.

And I'm glad you liked it. This means you're going to read one of those books, right? :)

Philly is a nice tourist spot as well. There is plenty of historical things to see and the museum if you're into that sort of thing.

The gay nightlife is pretty healthy too.

My brother used to live out there and I visited last thanksgiving. He lived near the italian market (west philly?) and I had Paesanos. LIFE CHANGING. Of course I had cheesesteaks aplenty. Jims was probably my favorite. There's so much culture there. Philly is so awesome

I pretty much only listen to hip hop lmao. My favorite rapper right now is Killer Mike, especially because of R.A.P. Music, RTJ, and RTJ2.

Del the Funky Homosapien used to be my favorite, but he fell off like crazy. MF DOOM is still good. Danny Brown's Old was great, and so was Earl Sweatshirt's Doris. GKMC got robbed at the Grammy's but the judges are frauds anyway. That's a couple recent things. I need to listen to more things this year -- Freddie Gibbs', Ratking's, and Busdriver's albums were good though.

I think I heard a song by Young Thug, but I don't remember. Show me a song.

I might relate. I find in groups I tend to hang back from speaking, and often I'll feel pressure that I should say something. For me it's actually better that I don't if I feel that way, because if I utter an idea prematurely (before I work out what it is I'm saying) it usually disrupts the flow of the conversation because we have to stop and figure out what I was trying to get at, and then I feel horribly embarrassed, and I don't get out what I meant to say at all so I just end up creating this pointless cul de sac in the conversation. That's also me in University with class discussions and stuff, some people are such good off-the-cuff speakers and I kind of envy them. I'm good on one on one conversations, but interjecting is pretty problematic for me if I don't think quite a bit on it first, and often by then the moment has passed.

Wow, I was just over there around thanksgiving lol.
And yes our food is amazing and chinatown is great too when it comes to food.

I'm in FL. Both Orlando and in the southeast. It's kinda nice, but what do you want to know?

I'm socially dead and don't know any gay people outside work/school casually, but there's definitely some around and it seems fine. I'm out, but I guess not many people know.

I like the atmosphere and the weather is nice about 50% of the time.

But I don't want to live here. I'd rather be a visitor.

I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Almost all my favorite products, media, contests, shows, special offers, etc. are seemingly aimed at the U.S.

I agree! From all the negativity there is, the States are a really great place to live in. East Coast in paritcular :)

A Beach, sprawled on the grass on a hill, and a hammock are also places that I think would work quite well.

I've gone twice. Great place to visit. Toronto was awesome, and went along the St. Lawrence seeing beautiful countryside. Second trip was Nova Scotia. Looked like a fishing town postcard in a lot of places. Beatiful and relaxing. I'll definitely visit Canada again.
